When I save a cloned painting I'm working on and then open it back up in painter 8.0 How do I continue to clone? And what paper would you suggest to print on to make my painting look like an oil painting rather than just on
regular photo paper.
Open your original image.
Open the Clone.
In the File menu, choose Clone Source, and in the flyout menu, check the file name of your original image to reestablish the relationship between the original image and the Clone.
Some artists print their Painter oil paintings on canvas, but you might get a better range of ideas by talking to a print shop.
I would not think printing on photo paper (or anything glossy) to be a good choice, though, if you want it to look like an oil painting.
