Lol funny storyboard You are definitely bringing the character designs up a notch, the last batch are looking really nice, my favourite is the purple S&M warrior lady!
No crits really, just keep studying and updating gonna check out your blog at lunch
really like that storyboard on the last page, its got a nice style to it. I think your sketches are looking good, and your paints too. If you find it hard to motivate yourself to draw all the time, maybe try settting yourself a daily or weekly challenge which you make yourself do.. Perhaps a self portrait in a mirror or "50 figures from posemaniacs a week". Up to you really as its more important that you choose a direction to go in.
Either way, the improvement is definitely showing so nice work on that!
Thanks zou I'm not sure I know what you mean by "i told you you have the heck" though
ThomasM: Thanks for the nice words I get what you're saying about motivating myself, but I'm horrible at that. Hehe, something to work on for sure.
Muz: Thanks a lot, man! That actually means a great deal.
Would be interesting to hear what you think, seeing as you're a native speaker of the language and all. Thanks for the encouragementOriginally Posted by Angel Intheuk
Did some stuff with markers and ballpoint pen again last night. somewhat uninspired and awkward, but it was nice working with a different medium, been a lot of photoshop lately.
The first one is a keeper of his holy gourd and shoe (or sandal). See who gets the reference.
That story board is really good!
Love the idea and the cute interpretation. You should do more of that!!
ps. thank you for your comment, made me think if i should draw some more in paint. had a really bad impression of it before that..
I really liked it. I took it into photoshop to see what it looked like in a larger size, trying to preserve the hard edges as best I could. It worked pretty well, but of curse you lose some quality when blowing up the size. Anyway, would've looked awesome as a large painting on the wallOriginally Posted by BlackDelphin

Was inspired by xLouisax' entry in the fantasy pin-up ChoW a couple weeks back, and made a sketch. Did some more work on it tonight. Maybe I should work on it more, to get it all polished and finished, but I'm feeling like moving on already.
Nice work! The elven warriors in markers are awesome, especially the top one. xxx

Love the storyboard. Odd though, he's hitch-hiking into the opposite way he's walking... Also found it interesting (in a good way) how the expressions change stylistically throughout the panels. Good stuff, keeps the viewer on his toes (imo).
Keep the characters coming (not that i wouldnt love to see some creatures/environments). Love how most are getting quite intricate and how you use (a)symmetry. Nice to see some more dynamic poses too. Surprised at the ballpoint, nice how you pulled that off. I find that really tough.
zou: Thank you! I messed that whole mouth up, but couldn't be arsed to fix it before uploading. Would be fun having a quick go at them with colour, I just have to remember them when I find the time.
Parsakoira: Thanks a lot!
Angela: Thank you
Heh, our teacher said I should probably change that for the final version, but I opted to keep it. I just like that sort of random humor. Glad you liked it (or that it didn't bother you at least).Originally Posted by Anthis
I actually really like ballpoint, it's like a happy medium between a pen and a pencil. It's harder to combine with different mediums though, like copic markers, as they tend to bleed quite a bit.
I'm super busy these days, working on my bachelor assignment. We (me and a group of 4 others) are working for a game developer to produce a game for Xbox Live Indie Games. It's a lot of work, but really really fun. With the addition of other school assignments, I've hardly had any free time.
Here's the most significant stuff I've been doing since last update. The six first images are concepts for that game we're making.
zou: Hey, thanks No 3d models though - it's a 2d game. I've uploaded a WIP spritesheet for the game in this update.
Fniss: Thank you
Eric-Anthony: Thanks for popping by again. I guess you could call it doodling around, since I'm not working on a portfolio, but a lot of it is concept art for different products and projects that may or may not be realized. I would have been working on a portfolio, but my career focus has shifted somewhat.
hey you're working on an indie game
congrat mate !
did u do all the character works ? that's cewwwl
don't forget a bit of shadow under the figure
the sketch of the girl is pretty nice, you could make her legs longer to make her more ideal figure
good luck with your work
Hiya..your cute green guy and red gal look good in the game, nice job! Must take alot of work to put together something like that, gameplay looks retro, I like it.
I like your little sketch too, her headress is looking good, are you thinking of finishing her? She would be a nice addition to your portfolio.
