Im currently a CCAD freshman and will still be attending here next year but just in case I want to transfer when I'm a junior, I'll be ready
= Concerning the scholarship contest, who will I (a transfer student) be competing against? Other incoming junior transfer students or all other first time SVA students (that could include first year freshmans thru seniors transfer students)
= And since I'll be an incoming junior, should I include more illustrations in my portfolio since I'm going into an illustration major? I know they want to see direct observations from life though...
- When I transferred into my current school, there was a scholarship subsection for transfer students only that was for the "large money," "we-only-have-three-of-these". For the smaller, standard scholarships, everyone was in the same boat.
- I put half "core class" work and half "focus" work in my portfolio and got 40K.
- In my experience, you have to be a pro to get a full ride. They are mythical beasts, this "full-ride" at a private art college.
