Hey guys, glad to get your comments / support,
I started a new sketchbook after my old account started to fuck with me when I tried to login, I thought it was time anyways,
Go here to see new stuff:
this new stuff is cool, I'm not sure about this new account and all, but i guess change is good sometimes
wakazou: Thanks! hehe
Ivo: thanks !
Aph: I acctually have started to think of that lately, how to hold my arm up
and so on, people say it needs alot of practice, and I gotta agree, cause
when I saw some Gnomon Demos like a half year ago, they barely NEVER put
their arm down on the paper , even when they drawed the details, so thank you
for pointing it out me likes genereal crits!
Zynic: Thank you! and sure, feel free to point it out!
Miguelslo: Thanks , hehe Im still dile you know
Just some stuff from today, im trying to spend more time on stuff now
then before, dont want a crap-mark again Also drawing by ref..girl
Well dude you have the confidence to go for your ideas which I admire, and your 14.. come on .. +5 years of this kind of drawing and I won't even have a chance haha.
The middle guy has his legs at over 90 degrees. I'd take a shot at reworking them, you will learn what you did wrong. =)Make sure you place the knees correctly, the bow of the femur follows the direction of the knee, this can have a dramatic impact on the figure.
I know what you were trying to do with the legs but you have to get them in perspective, otherwise it'll appear that he is gonna topple. Keep it up. =)
If your after crits then hit me up on msn if ya like. I can try . heh
that's right, updates, yeah, you know what i'm talkin about, ow yeahhhh.
Cool stuff Dile, that monster is adorable :]
Keep it up!
Oh, and about the last comment that I made.
To me, it looks like the guys next to the robot are midgets
I can't exactly put my finger on what it is that fools my brain to think so, but I think that their heads are a tad too large or something like that.
mad improvement here!!
the pencils are getting better everytime you post!
keep it up!
Nice stuff! I like your sensitive rendering! Your characters seem have nice weight going on as well... Very good stuff! Just keep rockin'!
WHOA! Someone's been stealing my improvement pills.
Your pencils are on their way to becoming INSANE. I'm really digging many of these drawings. You working in a Moleskin sketchbook? They always loos so graet to work in but they're so freagin expensive, and I don't think you can get A4 versions or bigger
But seriously, I'm very proud of ya man. Work some on gestures I think - your poses feel a little awkward.
Stars for you mate!
you're only 14,... oh shit. Hot stuff man, keep it up 8)
nice one: http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...1&d=1164903792
Hey Dtemp! Your drawings are impressive!
I've got this Concept Art 101 thread going over in another section. . . want to come join us? (The link is in my sig.)
By the way. . . it's not a great idea to tell people just how young you are on the internet. It's safer to say that perhaps "you're still a few years away from college" or something.
I think you are awesome, and I wish you the best in your endeavors, but I am tired of repeating myself, I am very busy with my new baby, and I am no longer a regular participant here, so please do not contact me to ask for advice on your career or education. All of the advice that I have to offer can already be found in the following links. Thank you.
Perspective 101, Concept Art 101, Games Industry info,Oil Paint info, Acrylic Paint info, my sketchbook.

here comes my crappy update..
And about the wii thing... I just asked for a topic in the IRC section, heh
and the studies are just for the studies sake! Also realized that I havent drawed much chicks, and that it isnt much chicks into my stuff overall, so did some lately aswell..Need to get my sketchbook home from school so I can scan the stuff i've done lately..
here we go:
nice work punk...
I would reccommend starting to think about the composition of the whole page
not just the thing you are drawing.. visualize the negative space....
and on the naked figure they seem stiff....swoopy lines? keep drawing more and more
To see the world in a grain of sand, and a heaven in a wildflower, hold infinity in the palm of your hand, and eternity in an hour.
Cool japanese building there at the top, dig this robot thing too http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...1&d=1164903912, that whole update was a good group of sketches. On this woman http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...1&d=1165101852the basic straight lines you've used for her legs are good, tapering towards the foot, now get a little more drama into them by adding curves to represent the various muscle groups. Burne Hogarth has a useful formula for a front view leg in his "Dynamic Figure Drawing".
"Beliefs are rules for action"
"Knowledge is proven in action."
"It's use is it's meaning."
Chaosrocks: thanks for the crit, thats about what i thought of myself, the "stiffness" thank you!
Armado: thank you, i will check that out !
Alright, im doing an attempt to "finishing" something here..
also trying to make up for that last crap-update..
As suited for the human of the 34th century, this fighter been equipped
with a equipment-suit of carbon and steal to make him both
strong, and fast....
Edit* yeah, sorry for the bad anatomy...heh..

It's looking great Dile
Just one thing that might be of interest, atm the only thing that catches my attention is the groin( beacuse of all the details I suppose ) and his armpit( contrast ), perhaps you should add something more eyecatching on the head or something?
Keep it up!
