i got teh stomech flu -_- ...woe is meee
anyways something of an update:
this looks really nice from far away XD ..i just made it close so you guys can see the details, watercolors is a favorite medium for me to work with ... and often i tend to side with the digital side rather then with it ..i know if i spit out a couple more of these i'll seriously get the hang of the media better as well as workable color combinations. as it stands right now this is really just a test image and has became too busy for my taste
stuff i use:
oh and i use cold press paper ^^
i use to do hotpress paper but it doesnt let the watercolor spread out as much so in a way im more in control, but cold press lets the colors spread out nicely and intermix with one another
Damn, girl! This most recent painting is absolutely gorgeous! You make me want to give watercolors another try. My only real crit would be that her breasts look a little wonky (very elongated, almost as though they are bags hanging from her dress rather than attached to her body) but other than that it's great. Your gestures are getting much nicer as well. Keep it up.
Very flowing gestures, i love em!
very vibrant colors in your paints too.....keep them coming, ill be checking this thread out more often!
Fantastic use of watercolor! Question: what color(s) did u use to get that skin tone; or was it a straight from the tube color?

Hi there, nice thread you have here. Love the linework in the modeldrawings, it's original and energetic. One crit about that last watercolour: could have used more contrast, now it's hard to see what's going on.
wow i havent updated in ages, lol i have alot to post , but at the moment i just have these , there for a WOW commission , im doing ..lol heres sketches and line art... more updates coming later.
Very very nice sketchbook, Eva. You've improved hugely in a very short time (must be all the figure studies *jealous*). The color stuff is especially bitchin'. Keep posting.
sketchbook...a kitten dies every time you don't comment
“When forced to work within a strict framework,
the imagination is taxed to its utmost – and will
produce its richest ideas. Given total freedom,
the work is likely to sprawl.”
- TS Eliot
Very expressive and shielelesque lifedrawings, specially like the crayon and ink ones.
Quite solid skills overall. makes one qurious on what you'll be up to next....
haven't posted here in awhile. been meaning to, at least to see what has improved
..more to come later...
Messing in CS2 and some tegaki stuff.
