im trying to wrap this thing up. i think i need some more darks does the face look correct. theres more to it but scanner cut it off.
The eye patch strap would look more realistic if it were to be more horizontal and wrap around lower around the head rather than how it is at the moment.
Dont be afraid to draw/shade with darker line work, maybe darken up the backround (closer to black rather than grey)

Do you think that the right eye is rather stiff perhaps some dark shades below could bring more life.
I'd suggest working on the ear a bit more, it looks like its pressed up against the side of his head too much.
ty everyone. the real picture is a little darker but i do need to go back and add some black values. when i was doing this i didnt have a 6b and its hard with only a mechanical pencil. i cant figure out what to do to the ear to make it pop out more. does it need more shadows behind it and high lights on top.
