The Beatles - Help! (mono digital remaster)
Sort of a transitional album, but I still love it. God, I can't believe I'm seeing Paul McCartney on Saturday!
Also, what do you guys think of the fact that most of the songs on this album relate to loneliness, sadness, being a loser, etc. It just seems interesting because The Beatles were beyond popular and successful, seemed very, very happy, and some were even married around the time of making this album...
"He who loves practice without theory is like the sailor who boards ship without a rudder and compass and never knows where he may cast." -Leonardo da Vinci
As for the Beatles " Help" Album, I think, a mixture of cheerfulness and contradiction, with a little bit of loneliness, depression and grief.
The cheerful singles: "Help", "You're Going to Lose that Girl" and "Act Naturally etc.
Nonetheless, I can just select one single which belongs to the latter category: You've Got to Hide Your Love Away.
And Yesterday impressed me deeply for its pleasant melody and simple lyrics.
" I need a place to hide away ..... I'm not the man used to be...."
This band is very local to me, and I first saw them live way back in 2007 when they first perfomed onstage. Their music is great I'm proud to say I come from an area which seems to be producing many great local bands which are becoming more well known for their great music!
Here is their Facebook Page if you want to hear more of their music
Just bought this to start my 90's West Coast Rap/Hip-hop collection. I like it more than I expected.

HK female singer - Fiona Fung's "A Little Love"
Very pure and sincere voice from this talented lady.
The rainy season makes my clothes wet and mildew. Annoying!
To celebrate my new found job! Hooray for money and materialistic crap! : \
