hehe im gonna have to finish those faces when im sober next time i visit sf lol
Danny boy- thanks man, still trying to kick it up a notch, seeing you work in Dallas was quite inspiring.
Clochette- Thank you, those were fun to do.
Eerin- haha it just looks like I've improved over a short amount of time cuz I post infrequently, thank you.
Fish- thanks man, keepin at it
CArnal- Thanks man. yeah, digital life studies helped my concept work a ton.
Dished- Haha Lake just said, meh most of that is all right, but those faces kickass Us together and drawing, and sober is... well good luck with that hahaha. Maybe if I lock up all the alcohol in a ten mile radius before hand.
Kick ass work man!
stunning work! you just blew my head off!
great stuff going on here! I really dig your stilllifes. I still can't figure out how to get these nice "natural light" colors!
keep em coming
you're paintings are really awesome, your values and skin tones look great.

thanks guys, replies later or something. Some space enviro thumbs that were canned from my last project, posted here so they get to see the light of day sketch action for the sketchbook and a fish.

d@niel- thanks man
josef k.- I like 12 gauges
gloominati- hard to get natural light in the gloom. more terrible jokes to follow. Using a limited palette, mostly transparent, so have to mix with white to get more opacity, keeps the saturation down.
nother life digi, damn should post this later for another stealth update
dude that digis badass !
uh damn that castdrawing is friggin GREAT, also love the rendering you show in the last update! Cool stuff, more please
gloom and kiel, thanks, those things take forever to finish. Check out the atelier combat thread for some finished stuff and vote so I get pizza! http://conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=157234
and a life digi
ahh yes - i love you paintings!
that butchergirl is really awesome too, sick updates!

very very very very very awesome!
Peanut butter and rice sammiches for you!
That is one intimidating fish... Very nice cast drawing and ships~ You seem to have rendering down pretty well now, so I'd focus on more attitude and personality in your characters. Some of them are starting to get there (top right priest and top middle huck), but even they could be pushed further. I don't really get a solid idea for what these designs are as people by looking at your thumbs, they are more like mannequins. That said, your designs themselves are coming along very nicely, and your paintings are beautiful as usual. Keep it up!
Dawn- mmmmm delicious, still trying to incorporate that into a pizza.
Fish- Thanks a lot man. Definitely something I'm going to work on.
Corza- thanks man
Sourgasm- Thanks man, that's why I stay late, get close up and personal with your ear every night!
So, a mother's day gift, some blockins, and a paint
Damn, that atelier work is stupendous! Love the rendering on the finished concepts.
By the way, I was throwing out some old magazines, and I happened upon a particular Southwest Art issue on 21 artists under 31... and lo and behold, there you were in the issue! Small world!
That hand cast is killer, but those ship concepts are just mind blowing. You're a madman.
dude your progress is awesome through the pages - cool priest sketches on this page (even though they're quick i can tell you're pushing to come up with something we haven't seen before) and of course the ships. Keep it up!
