thanks for the comments and suggestions...they really help in the process of Improving.
yea thanks for the crit..i worked on it some.
nice looking creature! it has a very good sense of scale, but i think the cracks in the lava look kinda flat though and the musculature on the creature doesn't relate that well. it might help to draw comparisons between your creatures and real animals that you can use as ref for anatomy.
in general, your pencil sketches look great and your paints are improving. i'm sure you'll be rockin at both pretty soon
Ok heres the almost definite final of my Teen challenge piece..i added the design for the rider, oh and a silly little sketch.
a painting, and more perspective drawings.
Ok sorry if this is a pointless update but its the last thing done for today.
hello..... bye bye.
The last image is really FUN! I love it, nice monster figures.
a bounty Hunter...
woho! Sketchbook coming a long nicely I see! Anyways.. Some critique.
Sometimes I don't see anything interesting in your characters especially because you seem to stop developing them both as concepts and the design after you've "blocked" it out. There are a lot of "clumsy" elements, such as big chestplates, armor that only splits in 3 Pieces.. In a portfolio, it would make you seem lazy, not matter how well rendered. Overall theres a lot of forms that doesn't keep any details, or looks interesting in your work. Sometimes the silhouette saves you.
Try to flip your pieces back and forth up and down to see if stuff looks normal no matter what angle its seen from. Especially flip it horisontally otherwise the poses might come out awkward , of balance, and weird anatomy.. stuff that would've become obvious if you flipped.
You tend to tilt everything left... or a lot of stuff. It makes it look like your stuff gonna fall soon , ( also prevented by flipping btw : P )
Anyways, keep it up and try to avoid those lazy big-block designs ; )
going through your pages i have to say wow.
You've improved so much and its so inspiring
Keep it up man!

I´m going out right now,but tonight I´m gonna go through all of your SB.I just saw the last page and is awesome!!!
emm a little update on that STUPID Monkey...and a battery..funny, while i was painting this battery...the song Battery by Metallica came on my playlist.
That COW is looking good. Nice fur texture. You could try liquifying that portal its created. The battery is also good, though the circular top is a wee bit deformed. Thumbnails and pencil sketches are fantastic! Your enviroments are getting better, keep practicing them theyre helping so far.
Oh, and when r u moving in? Looks like me and 2 others r moving in on the first of september.
Ive not been able to draw much of recent, thought id try something i dont usually do, a Weapon design...I planned to design a cover for the blade ..i didnt though...ah well..thats LIFE.
