concentrating on the leg first then to arm then what ever what ever...
Try to do a self test to see if I can get the arms right without any reference,,,, dont laught alright
Awesome set of studies. Just wanted to let you know, this thread of your has inspired me to do a little digital painting of my own. Cheers mate!
great stuff, I just love it
there is a glass of water: half empty or half full? ...... I say: just drink it
me and my sketchbook
man, really impressive
i see you improve really fast, i just love the colered stuff in post #6, really nice magma effect you got on the chick's hand.Nice concept and i see you are already improving your anatomy...post more coloured stuff, i wanna see more
those arm and leg studies are awesome.
easy on those studies man... they look like you wanted a zillion done in one hour.. RUSHED! Take your time, be relaxed, listen to some music while your arting and don't put lines down you don't think belong there. think about what you want to draw, and try to visualize them in your head before you put them on paper.
impressive figure drawing skillz!
Sith, thanks man. Digital painting is fukkin fun! I love it.
Really appreciate the inspiration to draw more. I haven’t really color any concept lately due to practices and studies on my drawing skill,,, and school too, school is kicking my ass.
MorganD- you said it. Thanks =). I have been drawing faces (favorite subject to draw) for the longest time, so I can say I have a good understand of anatomy of it, but to do value sketch straight up with figures or just about anything else, it would look pretty sucks….. no problem showing u some simple photo step =)
OleOlsen- thanks for stopping by, glad u like them digi stuff. Your line drawing kick ass
Robert – it’s a photo-manipulation/painting. Not a pro yet but love to hear someone say I’m a pro,,, feeling so high. “laid back” I’ll keep that in mind.
smat-math- thanks yo
MorteM – the bikes, I like them toooo. Hehe. U will see some more finish work later. Thanks for stopping by.
TheGnoll – I can always learn more. U got some mad skillz for someone as young as you are.
Fooxoo – appreciate the encouragement,,,, practice practice and pratice
Tobin – thanks yo, it can always be better
EVIL – hah, what an evil man, talking smack about my stuff already,,, jk, I appreciate it. Yeah, some of them I pretty much rush. These new one down here was snail drawing, took loonng long time to get them look correct. Thanks for the crit
sabe2003 – it’s nothing compare to yours
figure/anatomy studies- got the reference from “Virtual Pose 3” (a great book 360 view figure book). These took a while to do, around 15-30 mins each (figure). I drew them while trying to get the anatomy correct; erase over and over.

Hey, Tu really like the anatomy studies keep those comin. The only real crit I have is some of your concepts seem a little stiff. and maybe that you should apply the same style of lines you used it on that ripped skin creature. Think that draw is the best of your conceptual drawings as far as line quality. All the studies are great though.
Gnoll- thanks mate, I'm just trying to concentrate on the form with the anatomy instead of rendering.
Brian- yup some are stiff alright. That ripped skin creature was drawn when i ''feel it", so it was a lil better than I usually do cuz of "feel it'' at that moment, hehehe.
man I'm so sleepy, couple anatom studies update before I knock out
concept thumb for a little contest held at characterdesign.com. Brief - design a hero/villain with a side kick-
Hey, me likie! Lots of great work/studies in here! hooray.
I really loved that photo manip/paint of your mom and her friend. That would make a wonderful gift, you should definitely do that.
I await updates. ; )
Absence makes the heart grow fonder. Absence and booze.
There are no small sketchpads, just small artists.
The make-perfect button must come from within.
Good Brownie- mom portrait already printed and wrap up. She loves it!! She stared at it while daydreaming her youth. Many thanks for your interest.

This VIDEO CLIP will be on my portfolio/demoreel. (link at bottom) Let me know what you think,,,, yes = help critique please.
A little animation clip. (donno what category/type this video clip belongs to)
This was a final project for my storyboard class 2 yrs ago.
The project was suppose to be a simple black and white storyboard turn into video clip; I went full speed out on it=
made an original theme song,
Made it look like, ummmm, animation/illustration video instead.
Really love this video clip, it was one of my greatest accomplishment (took 1 1/2 months, about 40hrs a week, to finish this project.
I’m about to graduate and will put this on my demoreel/portfolio. I know there’s a lot thing I can do to make this video better. I thought to post this up so I can have some different perspective view and feedback……. to enhance this.
A list of what will be add/change
1. Beginning – have butterfly flying down, then land on the graveyard
2. The childhood fight (0:44 – 1:32) – will have more panel, showing different perspective instead of repeating the same panel over and over.
3. End – the ghost-guy fades out same time as the butterfly for easier connection between him and butterfly (he is the butterfly)
4. Add more contrast where it’s need

Veeeeeeery, VERY nice SB you've got here, mate!! January 7th's entries are incredible. This one in particular made me say "Whoa, shit, man!!" out loud, lol.
And this sketch here is gorgeous.
All I have to say is try not to be so heavy on the outlines when doing studies - keep'em crisp and clear so they're easier on the eyes.
Othewise, excellent work - post more!
kindly words you spoke sweetheart, thank you
that one in particular was my first attemp to render "real lighting", pretty much proud of that one, hehehe
Hey man, nice updates here. I like the quantity of muscle studies i see here in the last batch- i need to do more of those i realise. But for some reason, i can't see your animation (probably because my computer's a piece). I do know that animation, isn't easy; so, judging from those pics- it looks like it's gotta be really good, especially considering the amount of time you put into it.
btw, in regards to what you told me last time around- thank you. Seeing multiple point of views really does help me grow as an artist. Thanks again, man.
hey, thanks for checkin out my sb, and giving a good helpful paintover.
I'm really enjoying looking at your digital paintings, they look wonderful. i noticed near the start of the thread that there were a few little anatomy things, and I'm glad to see your studies that you've been doing recently. keep up the good work!
Been so fukkin busy with school lately havent have any chance to update my sb. Finally graduated, yayyyyyyyy,,,, feellll sooooo much relieve.
