Keep the design simple for the magazine cover. Chilijapones and myself have to do this stuff all of the time for the company we work for. Go for a good graphic composition that would draw your eye to it from across the room. Then let the viewer enjoy the details after that. Keep posting!
heed the advice of waka and muniz. Also with your type - use three straight guidelines, a base line, x-hieght and max hieght (forgot the correct term). The x-height is the height of the "x" and the smaller letters ect.
I like the logo. With the bird, grab some reference!
Cool stuff none the less.
Sorry to hear about the laptop, It's probably a good Idea to actually push some pieces further but mainly I'd suggest to at least make sure to render out the hands and feet properly, they have a tendency to be left out ;]
haha, awesome. I like them. some times cartoon stuff is great. I dont know if this has been adressed in the past, but I would love to see you color some of these drawings. I dont know if you have the software or not but you shoudl get it adn get at it cause you have some really nice work here.

To see the world in a grain of sand, and a heaven in a wildflower, hold infinity in the palm of your hand, and eternity in an hour.
Looking good Oki, keep doing those studies, very important
I think you could also try and maybe use more contrasts in your drawings, some of them seem a bit flat as it is.
I shall return. ,)
Keep to it!
Draw the whole figure dammit! (even if just lightly) you can then work up the areas you want. If just adds that little bit extra practice (we all need) for only a small amount of effort. Its a good drawing, you seem to understand how you want the clothing, which is great considering many people struggle with cloth.
