The rendering on that guy is great!
His expression is very morbid and really fits.
Good values aswell.
The ghosty faces in the BG really add depth to the sketch.
Always pop by your SB mate, a good thing every time.
Wasnt too happy with this one but the idea is kinda there. Just couldnt think of a cool design so I just farted this out.
Considering the speed i did this lets call it a thumb.

Im liking were your going
The pencil Sketch is quite nice, to the point of where I wanna copy it, over and over. My only gripe is the huge white space you left, coulda atleast pushed yourself and pencilled in an idea for a cumbersome hand or sumat, I dunno, anythin to reflect the guys pain.
Like the idea behind the 2nd piece, but it stuck as too straight for me, as in the shoulders knees eyes hands everythin is stuck in a poor lifeless pose.
3rd piece is just damn freaky on me.
.I look at it and zoom straight to the eye and I feel like its falling. I dunno if thats what you intended but it just does this wierd thing on me. Awesome
Only gripe is needs more solidness in the image, seems a tad fluffy except around the eye.
And weres the update on this? ??

I wouldn't worry too much about that dude, that will come in time. Knowledge is something that can be improved and learnt, no ?Originally Posted by Kresh
After all, you seem to have plenty of creativity and when your own style further develops, it'll grow on you, you'll see
There's a lot of character in this one too, I like it a lot :
Here's what i've been doing the past few hours. Fun stuff lemme tell you. I found it better to stop trying how other people do things and do what works for me. The sketch book i bought was huge so i couldnt take a scan. Sorry if they're a bit blurry my hands are in a fury right now.
Think im gonna do a 2 page spread on this one.
this last drawing is awesome man ... +subsribe...
check out my book when u get a chance

Looking good, I like the dynamic pose. Nothing to crit here, since Master already mentioned the nose. Just keep working on it, I think it'll look great when finished.
How big is the sketchbook anyway ?
Master: Thanks man I saw something iffy there. I should be able to fix it still with a little erasure magic. I agree with you as well on the arm, will do. I've noticed a problem with the other arm as well and will make adjustments.
Burning Eyes: I'm glad you are enjoying it as much as I am. Ill take a look soon.
Wim: I figure I should be doing more dynamic shit so stuff doesnt look boring around here. The sketchbook is 10.5 by 13.5 inches i believe.
I dig the jacket on that last figure, well rendered and sweet design. Check that back arm befre you render it in, though, I think it could be better placed to portray the forward motion.
If you ever get downtown, I work near the loop (actually just north of the river) so we can get some sort of sketch/boozing thing going sometime. Give me a shout...
yo kresh, nice shit. one thing. slow down with ur hatching when u render. contemplate each line like a proverb given to u by the wisest man on earth. dont spend 5 min wiping around spewing hatchlines everywhere. take time. im just feeling that that second last peice of the hooded dood seemed rushed. anhow u know best, somethings just get lost in translation over the internet. anyhow hope these thoughts help. keep it up.

dude...that rendering on your last drawing is freaking good. I'm really feeling the jacket and buckles. wow dude, the conept is fresh also. wow, way to mix it up with pencil and tablet. i agree with OBX with the drawing before hand, not to say every drawing has to be nicely rendered because we can see you know what your doing. Keep em coming man.
I dig the looseness of your strokes (both in pencil and otherwise), makes things look like they were effortlessly done, nice flowing lines and a good degree of detail too.
You got skills son,
I'm particularly fascinated by your paintings,
I think I can see the kent williams influence, but you are also getting a lot of things in your digital painting that seem quite unique too.
-really interesting (in a good way) artwork,
keep it up!

Looking cool as always Kresh
very nice sketchbook, reminds me of mine with all these pencil drawings.Very nice design style, quite strong marko's influences here and there, but you've got a strong personal style.Unfortunately i didn't improve my digital painting skills like you did, very nice stuff in that sense, great compositions and sense of contrast.
thanks guys, heres a treat
hey sweet work man, hows that large drawing from the 16th Aug post coming along. Your avatar made me giggle for to long
Bradley, I finished that. I just need a camera to take a picture of it.
silvestri99, thanks i really should be getting back into more pencil work.
Heres an update on that picture and a character design that is in the works. Enjoy
you got a cool unique painting style and drawing style, even if people say it reminds them of marko, i think you got your own thing going on strongly here.
The last one is great, got a Christopher Shy thing going on with the face, just reminded me of his comic Ascend, ghostly and haunting.
ill check back for more goodness, and get that drawing photographed
The picture of the guy with the gun is sweet. I really like the digitalness.
if at any point in time, my jaw drops even a little bit- i have to give some stars. 5 from me bro. awesome shapes. you ever think about doin' a little tut thingy? i know i'd be happy.
god so many fucking wips, here's a personal personal one i just started
Ill reply to you guys next post, i just dont feel like talking now
