Don't you ever, EVER, say you suck at figures again ..... 0_0
Thanks alot for the vids !
This last update is the strongest collection of images I've ever seen from you. Really, each image is a huge success and a joy to look at. Your colors, your values, your use of brushstrokes to create texture, it's all great, man.
Thanks for the inspiration.
Hey bruthar! I'm good as always and you? what's going on in the life of Tom?
Just wanted to drop and say this is such an awesome update. Your ability to play with shapes in an enviro like that is something I'm positively downright jealous of. The figure study looks amazing, nailed it amigo.
Cool man, keep pumping stuff in here and thanks for those links up there.
loving your enviros mr apathy: you are really hitting a style all of your own, you ought to get them printed up: i bet people would pay good money for them. The general public were really drawn to the digital landscape peices in our exhibition. Keep on trucking mate, you are an art hero!
Environments are absolutely stunning!
Lovely study of the girl.
mc freshpants coloroni, breaking it down like uranium depletion. Some of these i havnt seen... too good. too good.
I love your environment stuff, very inspiring.
Nice study buddy and nice model too
So this is what it looks like when you eat the crayons, poop them out and then draw with them? Amazing sir! Plasticwank? Seriously? _-_ You never cease to amaze me with your eloquent vernacular. Love the figure study and the enviros. All of it look like melting ice cream treats. *drool* I'll get those assignments finished soon sir, you no worry about me. Got some more updates in the work and will post when I feel I can make you tickle yourself. See ya!
as usual, really good to see those enviros. This time, though, I'm really drawn to that study. I can tell a lot of work went into it.
One interesting thing about these enviros is that they have much much softer edges than some of the stuff that you've done before. Great to see you playing with different edges, but remember to include some sharper ones in whatever area we're focusing on to give the image some extra "oomph."
Lovely as always man! Also, I saw that Gorilla Artfare website over at Drawn.ca, and there seems to be some insane talent gong down over there. I'll try and keep up to date with it.
P.S.- Drop me a line next time you have a mentor opening, bud!
don't think i've commented here in a long time...nice meeting you at the workshop. awesome stuff.
would appreciate some tips in my sb
well that's quite an update.
excellent vid. excellent landscapes. brilliant study.
crits? yea... sure... uh.... try some more 'unnatural' landscapes
you've got plenty of mountains and grasslands. what about volcanoes and alien planets?
seriously though. this shit rocks. keep it up.
edit: i dunno what it is but when i dl the full res version of your demos some of their sound doesnt work
is there some plugin i'm missing?

Cool bro'! I'm actually just inquiring about the band playing during your video. I could care less about the art! LOL, j/k j/k. Seriously though, send me a pm with the bands name. Melodic ambient background noise is always great stuff to paint to . I'm getting a little tired of the typical german, industrial, metal mashing I usually listen to.
Now art talk: I love your environments! Your shapes tend to get a little too smoothed out at times though. The shadows in your lms piece were guilty of this I think. I think some sharper edges will make your softer shapes jump out more . Also, A little detail here and there can go a long way. For most people, there is too much jittery detail. Problem can probably be solved by examining reference more closely. Stylization aside, I think this will help regardless. Anyway, great work on LMS. I knew yours would advance .
Keep in real in Utah
