So I'm going to London next week, from monday to thursday.
What kind of art related museums etc. should I go see? And do any of the londoners here have any art supply stores to recommend, or other sights I should check out?
I am generally only interested in figurative art, so recommendations of the abstract and non-figurative isn't necessary. I'm interested in hearing of non-art related museums as well(especially science, natural history, and places to study anatomy of humans and animals), if you know of any good ones. Places containing medieval armors/weapons and other cool stuff are also of interest.

I've been to London once, and that was this past Summer, so my knowledge is somewhat limited. That said, I went to the National Gallery and The Tate while I was there. The National Gallery was ridiculously huge and really deserves about a week to see the whole thing. For whatever reason, that kind of puts me off. The Tate, on the other hand, blew me away. I don't think i've ever seen a better art museum in terms of pure concentrated totally amazing paintings. They have several Waterhouses, including the Lady of Shalott (which I didn't know was there until I turned a corner and found it towering over me). I give the Tate 5 stars, straight up.
the Leaky Couldron and Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry
Art Galleries you would want to visit:
The National Gallery
There is a good art shop called CAS|art near this gallery. Cant remember exactly where, but its really close to the Leicester Square Station.
National Portrait Gallery
The British Museum
( has a lot of historical objects, artifacts from all over the world).
Thats all i got so far. Tell us what you think, of london and the places you went.
Have a nice time!!!
