I got a great deal on 12 gross (1440 pc) of these @ .15 ea...enough that I will be giving them out for years, but they're cooler than candy...
BONUS QUESTION: What is WRONG with this treat?

we didnt give out any candy because we live inthe creepy backwoods and it's like at some point you feel you should be running into leatherface.

mejor te guardas todo eso
Very good, sour! I had to laugh, we call him the "dogfish" in the package...lol!
These get the COOLEST response from the kids, no matter what their age. The itty-bittys just love the fact that they get a TOY, instead of another piece of candy. The older kids like that they are squirt toys, so everyone's happy, and I get a kick and a half at the reaction of the kids when they realize it's a neat toy...
kit kats, tootsie rolls, and dove chocolates!
I tell every kid, "Don't eat these."
Almost all of them have parents with them, and only one kid looked under 3, I made sure to tell the Dad, "Be careful with these, they might be a choking hazard."
I figured these were more dangerous than apples with razor blades, but in a friendly way...
mollyduker, I wish I were at your house...mmmm Dove chocolates.
I completely forgot about Halloween, there was no candy in the house. I gave them some of my dried seaweeds.
its a seal dog!
Tootsie rolls and tootsie pops and a kick in the balls for the kids with Pillowcases.
"Mug this bitch!"
Cripes Madster, I'm hitting your house next year!
We gave out the usual Milky Ways, Reese's and this gross candy bar called Take 5. Of course, we only got 3 trick or treaters the whole night. I guess our house is the designated "Sketchy House" on our street and kids stayed away.
Who wants chocolate?
Considering the number of kids I saw tonight covered with shaving cream, next year I'm giving out disposable razors.

Crash Course for Artists, Illustrators, and Cartoonists, NYC, the 2013 Edition!
"Work is more fun than fun."
"Art is supposed to punch you in the brain, and it's supposed to stay punched."
We gave out regular-sized Snickers bars this year. Hey, there was a case lot sale at the commissary. I'm diabetic, so I can't eat them, but they are a big hit.
Plus the 7 ft Pumpkinhead in the window, the family of human skeletons having a human body parts feast in the dining room, the graveyard, and about half a dozen four-foot spiders on the roof. Too bad we live in a retirement community, or we would have had more kids drop by.
Excellent idea, madster! Hmmm... that sounds like a great idea for next year!
Well, grand total of Squirting Sea Critters handed out: 62 (A BIG year at our house!) A family down the street had a haunted house, so that helped with traffic, and I drew arrows, "Trick or Treat," and "BOO!" on our sidewalk with glow in the dark chalk, so it was a good evening.
The 3 best moments were a little boy about 5 wearing a padded "Thing" costume (no plastic mask), who when I said, "Now don't eat these, they're to play with, okay?" Headed off the porch digging in his lil' plastic pumking and started whooping to beat the band; a kid who jumped off the porch yelling, "Hey Mom, we got a TOY!"; and the last kid of the night, a little girl of about 3, with her brothers and sisters (4-5 kids), who was the last one on the porch. She watched everyone else get theirs, and when I put the package in her little pumpkin, she promptly grabbed it back out, handed the pumpkin to her mom, and then reached for Dad to pick her up. Her dad laughed and said, "Well, that's taken importance over the candy for the night," as he laughed and picked her up, happily clutching her Sea Critters...
Here are some of the better costumes of the night:
I give out backhands. If the kid is still too young to be slapped by a stranger, I'll dish out a couple Melvins or Purple Nerples.

If you did, you should have your house egged every day for the next year. I hated getting those things when I was little. I'd rather get an apple with a razor in it. That toy idea sound great. You should have put a sign out front said, "Screw candy, we got free toys!"
