Still working on aforementioned 'doodle". I guess I can't really call it a doodle anymore, since i've been working on it for a further evening.
I like the branch sticking out, but for some reason it's bugging me at the same time. Perhaps it's the fact that there is no flora in the vicinity apart from that.
Anyhoo... a crit bash is quite welcome, as I guess i'm turning this sketch into something more solid. The left arm is looking a bit weird, sort of like someone grafted a teddy bear arm onto him or something.
A head i'm working on for the cgtalk cg challenge.
Needs a lot of refinement, and i'll be doing the final stages in ZBrush.
It's been a looong time.
Lots of stuff going on, but i'll save the excuses. Here's some silhouette studies.
Lunchbreak landscape. A bit povo. I'll have to do a billion of so more before i'm back in "the zone". If I was ever in it!
Sleepy doodle. I should have had ref for this, because he looks all out of whack (lazy lazy ear too).
erilazzzzzz you posted! *throws candy* you're going to the workshop right?
you need to use a harder brush in some areas! and i would give the landscape even more atmospheric perspective maybe... for the portrait, i wouldn't add bright highlights or darks until the end. there are some harsh transitions between the hair and his ear. but i know it was a sleepy doodle ^^
what have you been up to these days?
btw gonna see you in LMS...and gonna kick your ass
where have you been?!?
i think you are giving a lot of the girls a manlier jaw, maybe try to soften it a bit. on the other hand i think maybe sharpen up some of the features on the guys.
i've been... delayed.
Thanks for still stopping by, i'll look at my jaws! Here's some quick hands.
Hey Sir. I haven't stopped by in way to long. Sorry. You're going strong on the studies.
I like the pages of hands. There's also a foot on tip-toe that looks nice. Good volume to it. I'll be back. Keep posting.
I've been doing some quick sketch studies with a friend based on 100 items in a category we don't normally draw often. We're doing one category for each letter of the alphabet. "A" was for Automobiles, so here's the first batch on that journey. Fairly rough, but it's been interesting.
That's a great exercise.
You go missing for months and then just pop in with, "Oh, here's 50 cars I drew." Ha Ha Good job man.
I'm impressed! I'd be more impressed, though, if you painted 100 Koreans. Me first! (Then Min).
crazy3dman: Yeah, it has been a while. I've forced myself into more of routine recently.
bumskee:Yup! Now Carl just has to catch up!
Rebeccak: Well, i'm not at 'K' yet, that's another 900 drawings!
Here's the final 50 from the first 100! Again, VERY sketchy, but that's kind of the idea. I spent probably no more than half an hour on each one.
Now I can move onto 'B'....
