Always great to see
what you have been up to.
Really enjoy your palette.
Your support of my thread
is noted and appreciated.
I see I already gave this
thread its well deserved
It's beautiful and exciting, Shyam. I love it.. it has delightful and mysterious in the same time, color of sweet dreams... Want to complain, my dreams are worst than ever, I see nightmares third day in a row.
But this image is lovely and it makes me happy looking at it. And I love this graceful female figure, her playful curve in hips.
I still think you need to fill the page with more objects and right now the heroine takes too small physical space comparing to the rest... it makes her less significant too, you know. I'm talking about composition choices, Shyam.. You not always give right accents to the main objects in your compositions, IMO.
Overall I looooove it, like a magic tree painting with flowers/forest creatures you painting year ago.
Please don't lose this glowing orange and violet and those roun shapes of flowers and her playful pose. The BG trees are lovely.
you have some really awsome stuff, i especially love your sense of color, its really impressive. also, you have a really great sense of composition.

It's fun to see you play with color.
Hi, Shyam... heh, you know I was opening your book and wanted to see something in you update like what you posted ... like you did some time ago... magic forest with light bugs and fantasy...I just recently went through my saved images and looked at your purple little corner of mysterious forest with glowing flowers... I have a very good happy feeling looking at the image as well at this recent one. and one more... Mother Earth you painted..It is calm and exciting in the same time... like I don't know this place you showed me and it is so very new, unexplored and unpredictable... but I'm no afraid of it... You have poured magic in those paintings, you know... air is moving, little lights are flickering slowly, very attractively and piecefully... but it is not total dead silence.. it is full of charming life and motion.
It is poetry there ... not looking like life but much lovelier,,, so much more harmonious and finer. I think air is cool there and full of moisture... safe environment for its gentle creatures..Nature is kind and caring there.
How I love those.. I'm so glad that I opened the book and saw what I wanted to see... it made me feel good... happy ...so thanks. bye.
Hey Shyam, Hows it going?
This last one you posted is great, wonderful colors and textures.
I think your colors are awesome, not weird, I like the colorful stuff, the girl and the purple tree in post 752 is a great color pallet. I like the little blue/teal flowers.

shyamshriram- Shyam, hey dude, I love the tree in post 765, 767 rocks overall, makes me think of Star Wars Steampunk style, I like the last one too but I think it could use a couple of harder edge details. Keep rockin dude.
last two look really great imho.First one inspired by Bjorn's steamsuit, right? well, looks really nice, cool atmosphere in it, althought personally i would have added legs to the ship in the bacjkground (for some reason) and another huge vehicle in the bg (far away).Anyway, very cool work for a doodle, really
last one is cool too, i like the colors, strong contrast that works really well.Cool textures too.I'm personally not too happy about the vehicle design but could be just my problem
keep sharing man, looking GREAT as usual
Bojee : Thanx a lot mate...i agree about ur harder edge details..i m running out patience..have to work
more tight on my doodles..thanks for the reminder !
TheGnoll : Yep, the steamsuit..i know mine is nowhere..but im trying i guess..lets see
i thought about adding legs to that ship..like "Howl's moving castle" movie, but again..i wanted to create something
different u know..
about vehicle design..im not happy either..looks like a frog to me have to try more hard i think..
anyways..thanx for the honest critiques bro !
Doodling again...still working on this ....

Good start on the last one, it's got a 70s vibe, Cleopatra Jones or Foxy Brown. It's funny that she's so happy about carrying a gun, but I'm sure she's got her reasons.
LOL yea looks strange..i think(?) i want to show her nature...look how cold blooded she is..something like that...hope this make sense
glad u liked it mate
man...just searched "Cleoatra Jones" in google..man..i had no idea about it.. that babe looks HOT !! THANX bro !

i love the green-coloured painting from the 16th of may. the atmosphere is
enormous. the choice of sharp and soft lines is very well balanced.
the only thing that's bugging me is the perspective and probably
also the design of the creature, that the girl(?) is riding on. it's overall body
posture seems to be going in a different direction than the girl. i would give
it more of a profile view, like you painted the girl. also the posture looks kind
of static. since the girl is mostly following the directional line of the tree,
you could make the creature follow the line of the floor. for example, make
it crouch with it's front legs. as far as the design goes, it looks like a crouching human to me -
stuck in a kind of armor plus a tail. ... it's just my humble opinion. i really
like the piece, except of the things i just mentioned and if i was you i would
actually go back and change them, because then it's really a great piece!
i could say more about your other work as well, because i really like what
you're doing, but that it is for now.
Wow, great stuff. 5* from me.
