Cody, the balance between shapes/textures is perfect to me, nice mood in your picture.... I want see more, MORE !
the design of your s.b. cover was very cool. Like your paints and the detail in your drawings (without overloading the viewer with to much)! Great work!
Last one is the shite, really liking the texturyness of it. Does feel quite a bit like viag, great piece - colors rock man.
Oi! You! Get your arse on The SoFA!

man! i'm loving the moleskin stuff! where were you when i was purchasing a new sketchbook. now i have spiral bound ones, but maybe i'll be getting some of those moleskins to hide around the house and my car - so i can draw anytime i want! lol!
yesssssssssss skulls!! lol... i dont think you draw skulls too much, but it's sweet when you do! heheahaha oh and, dang man, your style kicks my butt to mars and back... yes i didnt say the moon, because the moon is so close to us you could stretch your DNA strand to the moon and back 3000 times. i'm sure you could stretch your DNA strand to Mars like once. so Mars is farther and that is why you kick my butt... ok enough sorry.
pleasing art to the eyes, CHEERS!
hey brotha i am liking where your stuff is going. your moleskin sketches especially the limbless and the line work in your skull ballpoint sketch.

DanielC: Viag is the man... I'm trying to take cues from all those speedpainting demons to suggest forms instead of filling in every detail. Thanks for the love.
bradley: Thanks homes.
Eriboss: Yeah man, it felt good to break out the acrylics... I feel like a complete tard mixing colors though, got some work to do. Cheers!
Fellah.: Cool, I bet that's the first time that's ever happened to anyone on the forums before, haha... thanks man, means a lot.
Alday.J: Thanks FRENCHIE, you get more!
Jens: You can always spot the weaknesses of each piece that I try to cover up, haha... good eye, those were exactly the issues I was trying to futz around with. Truth is I painted the head and a general shape for the wurm and then got impatient with the body. In the end the piece suffers, you were dead on. Thanks for stopping by.
Listing: Will do...
silvestri99: That cover was for Guggenmanuever's book, he started the design and I added a little sumpthin sumpthin to it. Credit goes to my man from the ATL, yay YEAH!
demented: Thanks man, two viag comments for one picture... I'll take that as I'm doing something right heh. Maybe his works are feeding through me unconciously, I gotta watch that.
MattGamer: Nice rant, I enjoyed it. Thanks for stopping by.
dns2k: Hey man, thanks.
oma: That's what I intended to do, paint with the pure essence of awesome.
enthombed: Thanks man.
Self portrait, for the laaaaydaaaays. Actually, for Oblio's kickass Self Portrait Day Nov 1st, what a killer thread that was... this was the first sp I've done in a while that actually bears a strong resemblance to my actual melon.
all mysterious and stuff, nice marker/watercolour texture you got going on in it, sense you had a touch of trouble with the left side of the face(our right)? big fan of your stuff always
cody - that sp made my top 10% of all sp's from yesterday....great job!

Hey 9ine, thanks for stopping by my SB and leaving good crits, I thought I had left a comment in your book at some point, but it seems I didn't.
Anyway, just wanted to say you have some KILLER artwork here, the mood of that CHOW is incredible, great textures! I loved your last LMS entry too, and that SP is really really awesome.
Cool stuff all around
nice sp! I print and put in bed for me to keep warm with! hooray!
the holy dildo changed his avatar and led me to his SB by doing so

really nice sp, mate! i was going to do that NOV1 sp day thing, but BOOO i forgot!! guawsh!
i like your myspace self-taking picture pose in your sp. hmmm... you can add me on myspace if youd like here: www.myspace.com/mattgamer
until next time, cheers!
Nice SP dude! Next time if you want that special myspace look make it of yourself looking into the bathroom mirror. haha. I hate that shit!
Hey guys, I'll get to the comments soon...
My girl got a bitchin' mug where you could create your own insert and pop it inside, so naturally I couldn't let that thing go bare. It'll be even more fun to see if over time water and coffee will get in and completely f this up.
bradley: I was working on this thing pretty fast so I completely forgot to give love to the right side of the face, good eye. Thanks for telling everyone my weakness, jerk. HA!
redehlert: Aww yeah, thanks red. Your whole series that you've went on to do afterwards is fantastic...
bdfoster: My melon is your melon. Thanks bud.
cotron: I just leave a ball of your hair under my pillow so I can kiss it goodnight. I'm sending you some hair to tape on the portrait.
Infinit: Need to change my avatar more often then eh, heh... thanks for stopping by yo.
Ben_Olson: Thanks Ben, you art has been a big inspiration to me lately you sick demented bastard! Great minds think alike...
MattGamer: Shit, the pose is myspacey isn't it. I'm afraid I won't be visiting you page because I have an allergic reaction to all things myspace. Your sketchbook I can do though.
asoir: Thanks mangoose.
voodoochile: Just for that the next sp I do I'm putting on some eyeliner, growing some bangs and doing a little secret cutting to prepare for it. I'll dedicate it to my emo brother voodoo... thanks for the words, you're doing some absolutely kickass work yourself.
Brendan N: It's a good thing you didn't change your av because I wouldn't have known who you were haha. There is a lot of gray in that sp, isn't there. I usually do such hihg contrast that I tried to pull it back a bit. I'll def. keep it in mind homes.
Thanks again you bastards, I'll do what I can to stop by your books and leave a perverted comment.
Awesome, I want a mug like that!
Great art Cody, would be awesome to colour that one,
makes for a great composition since the black and white is already forming a great value structure.
Fun stuff, happy drinking bro!
EDIT: oh yeah, as a new user I get to rate everything ... all over again! have 5 homes.

Ah yes....the ceremonial circumcision Myspace SP. I've heard of this but only by legend. I think it involves and extensive amount of lens flare as well. Oh yeah, that mug KICKS ASS!!! Great line work variation. Are you using a brush for this? Looks like fun!
Hi, Cody. How are you? Come to boost your sitting in bud, waiting to bloom narcissism a bit. I'm glad that you exist, Cody.
You are one of the most original, interesting, made from tasty contradictions, independently evolving and refusing to fall under other person influence person here. You can make people follow you. It's called charisma .
And I love this. You are rare. I can eat your personality with deep spoon, it is so tasty like exotic fruit. You should too have been put on the velvet under glass in museums with guards around you. I didn't see people with such bright personality very often . In your case the velvet should be carousel of purple, red, blue splashes in colors. that's how I perceive you . multicolored .
Feel free to laugh at it, I'm writing just half joking though...
Back to mug. When I saw it I thought you got commission and it is finished product already And i would buy it... It was let down to see it is the only sample... And it is a bit upsetting to hear that you are anxious to see it destroyed by coffee. Typical. Lets all hate our art like worst enemy, it can't bark back...
I like that it is a rough coarse character, I like that it's a black and white life drawn in this image. Extreme and clearly defined and confrontational. Like an action movie, pretty simple story, but involving nevertheless... I like challenge in his body language, him being closed form reading (hands in pockets , eyes in deep shadow), blank expression, skeptical line of mouth ( like in your SP).
Lonely dude... Tolerating life . I'll try not to transfer this on your personality, although it is hard.
There are some details in the image i think should be done a bit better, like outline of the front leg of the octopus, it is slightly broken and annoys me a bit... But not much. All together it works, creates an image of manly man... with other rough details.
Your portrait. I like that it has an irony, self irony in it. That's why I want to put you under glasses in museum. Together with your energy and impulse and restlessness it is a striking combination for me, like blue eyes in brunettes, a rare nature event, should be put in formaldehyde and kept intact for future generations to be aware of the artifact .
Why I always see some bitterness in your SP? You have a sharp tongue, but does it come from scepticism, or it is just that you like to move things around, like to create some disturbance and motion in too long still waters . There is some sadness near eyebrows and lower lip and eyes squinted like Clint Eastwood's eyes .
This object in front of you, can be read as a huge arm and it makes you look huge, tough and unapproachable. Or I can see it as a chair or blanket you are hiding behind and then you look smaller and vulnerable with the same face. Funny how body language changed the reception .
In reality, I think you are old softy on the bottom of your heart.
