I have been making a Christmas card for my family every year since i was in first grade back in 1984. This year i wanted to make 2 different cards, one for the religious people in my life, and one for the people like myself that consider themselves more spiritual than religious.
So here they are,
the holy Mary , and the cosmic Mother-
May everyones 2006 be filled with Light, Love, Life, and Imagination
Absolutely amazing Android! I'm really feeling the spiritual one. Your paintings have power behind them man..it's like a right hook...fuck my jaw jurts.
They're both beautiful. Good call on the spiritual side.
I would like to take this opportunity and send you my greetings for
All the best,

nice work! I like the radiant energy halos in both images and how the cosmic father and child are visible in the second image (if you know to look for them) but now they are something other than physical creatures.
i especially like that mary and jesus look more ethnic than usually depicted.
also, the added symettery to mary in the second one really enhances her expression.

Man, I'm blown away. Very simple and effective composition on the first one. I agree with the previous comments as well. It's nice to see the nativity cast as people who might actually come from the middle east instead of the traditional anglo-europeanized icons we're all too familiar with. The second piece is incredibly as well. As always, I love your color choice and ability to create luminosity.
these are wonderfull!! I love the Mary/goddess face, very powerful and strong. The mans face looks like he is full of wisdom. These are nicely done and what a nice gift for your family.
These are beautiful, andrew. could you post some of your previous years cards?
not much to say that all those above me havn't already, but those are real nice. It's also really cool that you do this every year for friends and family, I'm sure they really look forward to it - always a pleasure
You oughta put together a compilation of all your holiday cards similar to the 1000 self portraits!
Very nice work on 2005's cards.
I agree, it'd be neat to see past years.
Those faces are strikingly beautiful. No other words for it...
