juss a quicky from tonight, had the idea of a romanesque female robo see through gladiator \ greek godess bot thing, erm and this is what came out after 10 mins
eriboss, i love your style!
i hope i don't sound completely stupid, i understand you've used ink for most of your work, but i was just wondering how exactly did you create them using ink? was it an ink pen some sorta medium? i would like to know some details if you have the time, as i would like to try this out. i have, regretably, only recently started to really get in tune with my inner artist ha. i also really like the way you would incorporate a splash of bold colour into an overall black and white piece. i love the effect. please let me know when you have time! thanks.
shescomeundone thanks for dropping by, its nice of you to say you like what i'm doin, as far as technique goes, its really juss a mixture of a brushpen and some hitec C rollerball pens for the lines, then the backgrounds are generally dilluted ink splashed all over them, then the details picked out with gouache or pro-white.
Hmm reading that back it doesnt really make much sense if you are still as confuzed as i have just made myself now then drop me a PM and il try to help you out some more, but chances are il be a babbling fool
did a bit of random skethching today, playign with tria inks again..
some robo romany tron-esque solidery future battle bot...
a quick erm moneyesque beasty thing...

Trifles go to make perfection, And perfection is no trifle.
gibsini thanks man, glad you popped in
eyy Christian, haha thanks man, that is of course crazy talk though.. "eriboss bows down to Dc's drunken master painting skills*
getting excited about Praha now.. but for now.. i should prolly go to sleep
That fat kid general colour theory behind last couple of pics was soley based on what i thought looked pretty - hehe, very unproffesional especially since i seem to have a hardon for high contrast eye burning combinations at the moment
been playin with gouache today, juss to see what i could do with it, pics are pretty shoddy, but i pretty much learned what i wanted to - ie. next time try acrylics.
some wizardy freak:
some giant armed orcy freak:
Not sure whats going on with the facial anatomy on your wizard, i really like the use of green though. I think the thing is it's not as edgy and high contrast as your usual stuff. More black?
Your Ork has an amazing background. I like the ink spray. But his arm is weird, you need more definition to show where the hand begins.
Keep on posting Mr tickle
I love the last one on page 1 (the side on portrait). Its definitely my favourite, with the monkey faeries a close second. Your style's unique.
hehhe, awesome style, you know i love it!
cheers man and keep on feeding me

Summer Pudding hey man, thanks for dropping in Glad you liked that portraity pic, it was fun to do, so were the monkey faeries !! Cheers dood!
Hurri haha thanks Mr, i'll keep feedin you if you keep feedin me! hehe cheers for poppin in
Badger thanks for that...
yer theres a lot wrong with both them pictures, it was really juss a test to see if i could do moderatley commercially viable paintings... but as you noted i did seem to lose my style through trying to do so... but where do you draw the line between commerical illustration and individual style.. there must be a balance there - enough commercial appeal to fit in to the specific guidelines of the brief, but also enough personal style to get you noticed for the job in the first place...
So there we go, after thinking about that all night i woke up this morning and busted this out... I much prefer it, but only I guess because i enjoyed doing it more, but I can't ever imagine it being picked up as a magazine etc piece, cause of the looseness, but either way, it was fun.
Thanks shyamshriram ! Cheers for popping in
Ive spend tonight toying with this weeks C.O.W, heres what I came up with done withthe usual gouache, inks, pens n shit:
Morphosis Aquammal Giganticus - "The Drunken Giant"
This astonishing beast was first spotted by marine biologists 3 years ago deep in the baron ice plains of Antarctica.
Coined by scientists as the worlds first “Aquammal” and measuring up to 50feet in length in “marine form” these giants bodies are made up of a thin transparent membrane, which strangely only appears to house a brain, stomach and what looks like huge distances of veins.
In the dark winter months when sea pickings are slim, this giant beast goes through an astounding state of metamorphosis…
By sucking water inside its membrane skin and then dragging itself up onto land, the beast freezes itself into a collection of vein filled ice “limbs” and then proceeds to climb up off the icy floor and continue its hunting on land… swapping its summer diet of small deep water whale to that of polar bear! Scientists have nicknamed it “The Drunken Giant” due to the fact that when on land it seems to stumble around unsteadily on its newly formed limbs... much like that of a drunk.
Amazingly, if their ice "body" gets damaged, it can simply refreeze itself over time, making them almost indestructible… although if they does ever find themselves in any form of trouble, they simply dives back under water to gently melt away their bodies and swim away unharmed.
Don't be fooled by its comical stumbling appearance... as this creature is cold calculating killer, hunting both above and below sea level it is more intelligent than we could ever have imagined… and truly like nothing we have seen before.
oueff after all that writing I should Reallly go to bed !
thanks Sally, no Crits... from you?
awesome... that... must be a first.. don't I get some sort of medal now? hehee
It is crittable though to be honest.. i just think your being lazy bwahaha
