exemplary commitment to the task you set out to accomplish. SPOD #23 is my favorite due to the clarity of the planes in the face. Aim to keep the planes of the face as clear in all of them as you did in #23.
anyway I'm requesting a SPOD with a limited pallete, maybe with like only 4 or 5 values, handled like it was a statue bust, I thinks that would look cool
Johny 5 - Thanks for the comment, yea 23 has been probably my favorite overall as well....
thanks for the challenge, i tried and i did it to the best of my abilities!
so me as a statue....sp #32
Great to see your progress on the vehicle design. You should refine your way to construct heads a bit more. Maybe go through the books of Loomis (there are free pdf versions around on the internet). Keep going!
Nice stuff...Especially the portraits. Personally I think you could use some sharper lines here and there but it can as well be your style..
I like the colours, nicely mixed up and unpredictable.
Keep it up!

Hey thanks for stopping by my sketchbook. You posted right as I was updating it. Anyways, I'm in Mission Viejo.
It seems like you are loosing a lot of structure when paint vs. your sketches. Try to focus on the form. Keep sketching man, i'll be checking up on you.
proportions are looking much better than usual, I can tell you've been working on that. Other than that I'd say simplify the planes, a lot of the rendering is kinda stringy and it reduces the clarity of form changes, just make it simpler Bob Kato style haha
also the Kato'ish head you did looks good too, good translation from the value to color. Try applying those techniques to some heads drawn from reference to push your head construction skills.
keep at it....like a warrior...hahaha
here is an small update
did a goauche head study, it was my 1st attempt at gouache. had a lot of fun with it
and a somewhat abstract digi-paint
i can see some real progress in here! i juzst would like to see more pencil drawings hehe, their were my favorites
