heres some old work, Ill add more later because im sick right now
None of the guns are to scale with each other
heres some more recent drawings that arent over 6 months old
Nice detail, but your work lacks feeling.. the poses feel very stiff and your drawings feel very technical, though lacking anatomical knowledge.
Don't mean to be harsh, but I think you're trying too hard too soon. Clearly, you are excellent at technical drawing -- the crane-type thing from the side I assume was drawn very carefully with rulers and a compass is very good. Where I think you go wrong is assuming perhaps that this ability can be pulled easily into artistic drawing.
You have a good eye for detail, but you NEED to do anatomy studies, (it will help you so much!) and perhaps equally need to loosen up a little - you don't need to perfectly finish every drawing and put detail everywhere.. sometimes its what you miss out more than what you put in

Have a nice day!
I agree with everything thats being said here ... some of the joints, weight distribution and proportions are off in a lot of the drawings, but I like the technical stuff, it just needs a better organic base.Originally Posted by sixBlade

I think that the thick bodies of these peeps is what needs to be dealt with first. I will reiterate the anatomy studies, as you need them. Don't take that wrong man, I'm still learning too. I am just here to let you know I'm in your corner. If you ever want a little challenge over anatomy with me, let me know!
He who asks is a fool for five minutes,
but he who does not ask remains a fool forever.
thanks, yeah, i really do need to do some anatomy studies thanks for the C&C its really helpfull
oh yeah and on the crane/arm thing i didnt use a compass, i dint like putting holes in my paper so i just used a circle graph, works just as well

heres something i wipped up in flash.
hey dude, cool stuff here, i just think that you need to take more time getting the initial flesh down in a cool dynamic pose before you ad in all the details. these look war hammer 40,000 inspired. great detail you just need a good base to put them on.
You are a warrior, a man of war...
Heres something ive been working on in PS
You really need to learn how to draw properly. All these characters seem flat, no sense of weight or form.
Your concepts and machines look quite good.
The last character drawing is the most interesting so far. I agree with everyone that your characters need more work. The poses are generally very flat, them just standing there with their arms at their side. Do some studies from life, photos and anatomy books, it'll help you incorporate better anatomy and proportions with stronger, more dynamic poses.
If all that work seems a bit overwhelming at once, pick just one area and focus on it for a while, then move on.
i really like your diagrams, though i find your figures to be very flat. try giving them more anamated poses, or have them interacting with some external force or person. also, id like to see how you handle environments and lightsources. you obviously have the interest in some quite complex and bizarre subjects, so i can only expect that if you can keep with drawing we should expect to see some really cool peices coming from you. Your work reminds me of warhammer 40000, andf i would recoomend the magazine White Dwarf for a good guide to extremely complex machines and warrior breed subjects/weapons, etc...
Man, You fellows are right, I think it is time I stop being a faggot and start listening to ya'lls advice
I'll start doing some anatomy studies as soon as I get over this bad case of artist's block
Good stuff and lots of potential, imo. I think you would greatly benefit from some figure drawing classes, as that would take your art to the next level.
heres somethign I made as a joke
oh yeah i also forgot about a challenge i did with lightkirtar...
nice sb elvis, your proportions are off a bit. you should do some anatomy studies
The Britney Spears drawing was indeed very funny lol
