i strongly disagree, except the third is good in a way that hurts my brain, i'm not sure. the top two are obviously photoshop filtered to an extent where they are obviously overdone and in effect lose a lot for it.
the last one is your best photograph, technically speaking although i would like to see it clearer. The tulip is stunning, but your photograph of it is not, you need more lighting on it (try magic hour (just after sunrise and just before sunset))
your black and white photography has potential but needs some serious contrast sprucing, to get teh whites there whitest and the blacks there darkest.
i keep looking at the one of you on the ladder and it's like an optical illusion... haha crazy stuff, plus the colors are really good in that one.
Although this set of photographs may be at best average, I see a person who enjoys his photography and is not averse to taking on a variety of subject matter, both in straight photographs, and in manipulation. As to advice, I would say, listen, learn and practise. You show great potential.
An interesting series, Zopetos. I like the digital image of your friend Jamol in #1.
Your portraits of unknown people are quite good character studies but you have too great a depth of field which renders your backgrounds as very intrusive.
Your picture of the old Polish woman on a bicylce is spoilt by being on the tilt. I assume that you were trying to give the impression of her riding uphill but unfortuately, the impression it gives is of the houses sliding down hill. Verticals really do need to be vertical.
I love the photo of flowers from your garden. Excellent and unusual viewpoint which makes for a good composition and an excellent photograph.
Its seems like you have a good eye for would would be a good subject, but (as insane said) you might wanna take a little more time to frame the picture and take time to find a way to best capture the subject...
First shoot is nice...
Others are maybe nice captured, but i don't see a meaning...
Capture good pictures is one way,
give them a meaning another.
I said before that it's not done, when you just capture.
Everyone can "just" take some photos. I personally think about one Picture up to 10 minutes! It's like surfing. You are waiting for the perfekt wave - and when it comes you have only a few seconds to take it. If you miss the wave, you have lost.
