Hey, those paintings of the sky are way cool. Are they done in oil? The last batch of characters is wacky I like them. Just wondering, but have you ever been to http://www.saveloomis.org ? If not, you really should! Good luck and keep up the good work.
Your sketch/paintings are really good. Keep practicing that; and don't forget to practice more simple shapes, the cylinders cubes and boxes that help define the forms in you pieces; especially important in landscapes with architecture/machines off or miss matching perspectives can really throw off pic that would rock otherwise. Look at your lites and darks, some of your grayscale stuff needs more contrast to create a greater depth. Using the same quantity of darks in the forground and background flattens your pictures to much.
(please take my comments as they are ment; to help you possibly do things better. its all about you )
my own worst enemy....

Anyways, on a different note, some how im getting bored by this sketchbook thing, nobody seems to want to comment enough, and no one really ever posts any more...Its not even really worth me takin the time " TO" Post...I have tones of stuff i can, if i see people start posting more, therefor, im sure they will comment here more, as i can comment in theres....
I love your work - I can't really give a comment about anything, just a motivating word. I especially like the swamp painting
just dropping by to make sure the link to your sketchbook in my signature works properly, I'll offer some comments later when I have time to browse
Hey Justin, hang in there, I like your landscapes.. The blue character reminds me of stitch (as in lilo an stitch).... hope you will get around to adding more detail later on
The painting of the woman's torso is great, it displays form pretty well, only complaint is that her rib cage is a little too big. The drawings are good too, did ya use ref on those? Oh and your environments are cool as always! See ya.
Last one is nice, only crits are the fog could look better (not that I could do it any better) and the highlite on the rock on the far right looks a little off, maybe it would look better if it were located more inside the contour of the rock? Until next time, keep up the good job.
ditto to what Dan said. I love the skyline and the rocks in that last pic, but especially the clouds and hazy mountains.
I really like the latest one you did, and of course, your environments.. can't say that I'm a fan of the ink faces... I think you did too odd of shadowing on the female face... I find that over-rendering dramatically reduces the apparent attractiveness of female faces.
