Okay, I'm very new to the forum - after browsing for a long while and being a little bit intimidated by the high level of work going on, I thought I'd just bite the bullet and post my own artwork, to really give my learning curve a kick up the bum. As such, I'm very open to critique and I like to think I take it well and apply it to the best of my ability, so please don't hold back, and let me know exactly what I need to work on. I'll probably be posting mostly sketches and college work, but I'm going to try and push myself to paint more (even if I have to lose a bit of sleep!).
Rated for nudity because I hope to attend life drawing classes as soon as I get the opportunity.
So first off, here's a portrait practice I did a while ago, focusing on my use of colour. I referenced an NPC from Skyrim, Horik Halfhand.
