I agree. My favourite lighting is a cloudy day, it makes the sky into a big bouncer. Also you could use a sunny day, but in shadow of a building. Then its even possible to reflect light into the shadow with a big piece of cardboard.
Easiest way to take indoor photos is by the windows. The best thing would be in a greenhouse type building or a warehouse with really big windows. For a softer light it would be best if theese windows were not to the south, because of the sun.
