So like the title says, I am about to go buy my first Wacom tablet.
I dont have a lot of money, and in fact I am trying to scratch and save as it is. But I need a tablet to progress my art.
I saw something regarding pressure sensivity? There were choices of 512 and 1024. Is 512 ok?
Can you tell me some info about sizes and qualities? What would you recommend? I checked Best Buy's page and Fry's, but I dont know if those are a good deal or not.
Remember that this will probably be the tablet I use to not only learn, but someday create my portfolio to get hired some place. So I want it to handle quality, without being too expensive.
Any help is appreciated.
A 4x5 Graphire will get the job done if that's all you can afford (its what I use at home), but the more you're willing to spend the better quality you're going to get. The higher grade models are definitely worth the extra money. Just figure out how much you want to spend and get the best tablet you can afford.
Also, this has been discussed plenty times before. You should probably search the board before asking next time.
i agree, my 9x12 intuos3 will serve me well in my future endeavors...Originally Posted by 0kelvin
