Great stuff dude, really like the last image!
Looking for Feedback! Please visit my sketchbook..
Kambei Shimada: thanks for dropping by and the candies for me!!!
A promising doodle i started for about 30 min.
I will focus on rhythm and simplicity of the composition... kill me if i don´t finish this...
I'll remember your deathwish, if it isn't finished! Besides that there are a couple things you might want to look at. The ear, seems a tad bit off, the top part , seems to reach a bit far too high. And also watch for that alignment of the lips and nose, the lips seem to be a bit off, or that might be me. Besides that finissh it, it seems like it's going to be good.
Ev'sSketchbook for the lazy minded but willing!
Help an artist, leave a critique.
@Evxyza92: I hope so! I corrected some of your critiques mentioned, the ear is hidden by her hair now. Thanks alot!!
I am not really sure what this scene is about, i thought about a symbolic figure like "autumn"... currently it seems more like a fight seen but we will see it tomorrow...
Update!!! I finally found a scenery i am satisfied with, i struggle with her legs right now, you see. Perhabs i add a wolf by her side but we will see...
Cause time is little the next few days for me, i set the deadline for next weekend for this one. Wish me luck!
Ok, after some various extension of the canvaz, i finally cropped it and simplified the scenery.
Nothing original but that will come next...
alternative with sword....
I guess i go back to bow... which makes just more sense in this scenery....
Next update should include the finished piece
i like the sword better
and i must say this is amazing.... watching the progress shots is so great, quite an amazing transformation
thanks a lot Joe, so i keep the sword for now...
well, i almost got mad with her pose especially her feed... hope it works!
Ok not finished but i see the goal already!
I think her pose is a tad of balance
and it could be fixed by moving her right leg to her right just a tad more
but otherwise the progression is very positive!!!
Oh oh the deadline!!!
Although i said that i finish the painting above I didn´t got it done.
Nevertheless or better BUT i have another thing done this weekend.
Sir Galahad - CHOW #142
I finally used some imitating "real" brushes, no ref...
@Oranje Joe: thanks for take a look again! Already redone the pose...
@Texahol: Well the craziest thing is that i actually know that my workflow is bullshit... I really have to try to work step by step ....
@sourgasm: thank you too!! I hope to finish the painting in the next few days.. stay tuned!
Love your work in here, though on your last piece. My first glance made me believe it was a woman. Though when I looked clearly I saw more manly features. But still, it could be mistaken. Just a pointer, no critique I'm sorry to say.
I've got the same comment as Hive minD, I'm afraid. Otherwise, sick rendering and lovely charas
Thanks for your words Hive_minD. A woman? Well Sir Galahad is described as "pure" and "immaculate", therefore I gave him some kind of beauty.
So the little androgyny is intended.
Had some free time this evening.
Focus on skin shading.... PS / no refs.
I really really have to learn how to draw hands.... damn it!!!
Sir Galahad is great!
...and the hands are coming too, i can see it
I like Sir Gallahad ( I thought she was a muscular woman) and the red hair warrior woman too... oh yeah, new here, just popping by say hello as well
it kinda looks like she is missing some hair on the lower part of her head
but other than that its excellent! the eyes are so expressive!
I almost forgot about the last painting...
Thanks everybody for their nice words.
Ok here is something i started today, right now I need a break, cause i have such damn problems with the feet... have to some studies!
Here we go
No refs, but a more logical workflow by me!
