"This is pretty neat! Is it rendered in a 3d program or did you paint this?"
I've just grabed a screen from 3ds max with low poly model of stairs, just to get some reference. After that it's pure photoshop work.
It's supposed to be creepy, nightmarish and so on. I choose that kind of view, in matter of fact, that I treat this as a map. I didn't mean to do any "game work". I think that the best description of this would be a "The Cell" movie. I mean, the idea with sort of alternate and creepy world of this mass murderer. What happens in his head, scares JLo (or whoever she played  ). I wanted to tell a story in my movie, that is around that idea.
"Just a few crits tho... for one the door and the window, if thats what they are, arent very discernable maybe looks like they are covered in moss?"
With the door on the top of the stairs, it's supposed to be a some kind of "Light Gate". It's hard to describe it, but it's going to be made of light, so I have a little problem now with "how it supposed to look like". I'm still working on it. The Window need to be cleared definatelly.
"Also the walls seem a bit bare, and although i love the texture perhaps add some more architectual pieces and geometry to break up the large walls. "
That's a great idea, I mean, I wanted to put some distortions on the walls architectually, but I gone too far with working on details (as always  ). I need to do something with them, I got this task on my "To do" List.
"Good work! it seems like you have a cool story to go along with it too! looking forwrd to see what you do with it :thumb:"
It's very nice to hear, that work is ok or good. Gives a lot a of motivation. Also, the story is supposed to be original and different. I'm curius how much I'm going to made this sounds like I wanted to. And here is updated one:
