reminds me of a level out of that sucky letdown of a game DOOM 3. otherwise, good work.
Thanks someone...I'll have to try and adjust those stairs slightly.
Phrozac....Uh, thanks for the "good work" comment...but, I'm not sure how to take the comparison to "that sucky letdown game." I haven't played Doom 3 yet, but according to you I'm not missing much.

I realy loved the environment. The colors, the blur around the lights, textures, the perspective idea. Cool!
nice execution, but is looks like a level straight outa doom. So as for as concept, its already been done, rendering this piece "fan art" not concept art. Im not trying to take away from the technique and execution of the picture, I just recommend trying something a little more unique.
BLAST ON YOU!
I agree, it does seem a bit hard to do something original in the form of mechanical environments. I mean Matrix and tons of games already explored that world, but it doesn't mean that no one should try to do something that they like even though it might be something similar to what others have done.
Anyway, I really like this piece, I guess this low-resolution one would be better than a highly-detailed one. The murky look adds up the flavor of "concepts" and gives the atmosphere a boost.
aye it's got doom3 written all over it, but that aint a bad thing.
the game was awesome, same for your piece.
maybe you should send it to some doom3 mapmaker
I'd hire you
i can see the doom 3 comparison but your work has way to much light in it to be doom 3 . also just because the old HD is down does not mean you cant get your stuff back, the files should be still there , as long as you do not reformat the HD. there are tons of programs for recovery etc.
I agree the stairs looks odd and the door closest to the camera appear to be out of perspective when compared to the ones in the back. it throws the piece off a bit.
