I'm really glad you like my work very motivating! The final acid etching (don't know about the english translation) turned out pretty nicely... I'm gonna post it as soon as it's dry and I get a hand on it (Tuesday probably).
here's something from todays sketchgroup

sone_one thanks glad you liked the comic char... he plays the lead role in my short I did for uni. Sent it to a "mini"-contest from BMW, didn't win shit though
here's the short if anyone's interested -> mini-movie (music done by my friend ToxyK Beats)
So, haven't updated in a long time.. here's some recent stuff, all digital since I'm to lazy to scan
some ref stuff to get my new intuos II warmed up..
about 1 hour:
about 30 mins each:
hope you like it
Coolness all around, life inks are a bit rough on the edges,
try not to make so many strokes, strive to capture the personality
and volumen with out taking the pen out of the page,
inks are hard as hell so keep praticing man, and keep the inspiration UP!!
All of this is just Amazing. Hopefully I'll make it to that level. I just love how loose, but solid your style is!
thank you really glad you think so.. just keep practicing, there's no one to stop you in your progress but yourself!
still into that value/color practicing with my new intuosIII, painter with ref
don't know about the time tho... redid the colors about a hundred times... dude painting skin just drives me crazy! Meaning.. I need way more practice..
thanks for replying, usually I don't do a lot with reference (I always state when something's done with ref). Lately I've had fun painting those celebrity portraits from photo ref to get a sharper look wenn it comes to portraits. I also need to practice more skin-coloring since it's really one of the hardest thing to do.
so here's the finished piece (about 2hours), wacom, painter IX, ref
very nice stuff. great range of values for the most part. those digital girls are looking hott! great studies. but on the comicbook some areas are looking flat, especially on the mouth region. well thats my crit for now.
Hmmm... strange screw-up... why's my reply posted before your actual commment... oh well
thanks for your c&c! Yeah I know.. sadly I had to rush those last couple of pages to have them ready for evaluation...
here's another (wacom/painter/ref/~1h30)
(still got TONS of refs I'd like to practice on... not sure though if I'll post them here since it's starting to get boring..)
I've become so lazy about posting.. sorry.
Thanks to my good friend Dan#9 for pushing me
so here's some late stuff:
doodle in the cafe yesterday
Girl with pretty shitty gun
Some initial character designs for my current comic project at uni
Studies of the final main characters
And a color pass... not sure yet about the coloring style.. I might add an alternative version soon
more to come soon.. I'll need to get started with the actual pages soon (it'll have about 8 pages)
hope you like it, c&c as always very appreciated
Ohohohohohoh what a great sketchbook!
Angelina Joilie (?) is good but looks a little bit like an alien. Maybe she is one because i drawn her and there she looks like an alien too.
Mach weiter so, das sieht nach dem richtigen weg aus!
those ink Self portraits rock man...
Mainloop- man i must be dyslexic.. cuz i thought you asked how many people are on lsd
wow, these grimace-faces are too cool.
and your life drawings are great. keep posting.
@vigostar & monotony

I'm going to do more life studies.. since I'm visiting those drawings session more regularly this semester.. I hope
