Like the armored dude very much - got an Ian Miller thing going on
reminds me of setting in the St. Louis Art Museum and drawing the armor for Figure Structure class many ions ago!
Thanks Mentler, after seeing Your work I feel I've accomplished something to get a compliment from you
Jokisalo, just trying to keep up with all of the incredible work in here...
The armoured guy is a WIP, Im doing a painting of him with his entire body intact that's just the inital rough to figure out where stuff goes...
And here's some more
And some more...
heres another one...
Your work has a nice combination of sensitivity and strength!
Love the new guys -- hope you have a good dental plan!
Fun stuff. I’m a big fan of the creatures that you posted on the 29th (and the armor… it rocks). Thanks for posting in the last few Drah’n Times. A lot of people in Drah’n Time just copy a picture, which is an okay drawing exercise… But you actually use the reference as a starting point to go someplace else. That’s a lot of fun to see.
My most recent stuff
Good update ~ makes me want to get my hands back in the clay!!
here's some sketches from a couple of projects I'm working on right now...long..drawn out and overly complicated projects...
ever have a bird stare you in the eye like it wants to eat your face?

My First Update in a loooooong time...
Schools keepin me busy
Well its been a helluva long time since I posted anything.
Almost a year so hear goes...a bunch of stuff I just did with my new tablet.

Someone on one of the forums did a redesign of the he-man characters and I wanted to try painting his/her version of skeletor
A Demon that somehow ended up lookin like Samuel L Jackson
A nifty rocket launcher
a couple of doodles
One of the guys I work with done up as a lion man
i don't really know who this is...
My own version of skeletor
and another beastman
Wonderful creature concepts. And that bird is just awesome! Is the stare on purpose or did it happen while drawing? Love it!
Some Faerie Godmother concepts for a series of gothic faerie tale dolls I am going to make.
some sculptures I did recently
A Head on a Stick...
(character head for a short animation I am doin that is going to take FOREVER)
My design for the bookcase in the room of requirement in "Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix"
I just finished a Special Effects Makeup course.
This is a design for a makeup i applied to a friend of mine. When I get the photos of the actual makeup from the photographer who took them I will post those as well.
Here is a new piece that I have slowly worked on over the past few years.
This first image is a sketch I did about five or six years ago and always liked the concept. Lovecraftian tribal type who worships the "ancient ones".
This image is the one i just posted a little while ago. Its two photos of my friend Jamie that I pulled into painter and tried out the tattoo design on.
This final image is a Photo taken of the make-up I applied to Jamie as a project for my Special effects Makeup class.
