I'm a 26 y/o guy from Norway. My interest with art has always been present, but I never took the step and plunged into it. Until a year ago when I decided it was time to start realizing my dream. So I've been drawing for the most part, and gotten some painting in now and then. My focus is on observational drawing and understanding the fundamentals that make good art. I'm not sure which path I want to focus on, be it Fine Arts(landscapes or portraits), Illustration or Concept Art. My belief is that if my fundamental drawing skills and understanding is strong enough I can go down whatever path I want.

Wow nice crow the eyeball looks very realistic. Post some more .
First pic up is a quick study of Raphaels Head of Young Apostle. I know master copies/studies are important, so I decided to have a go at this one. I learned a lot about shading and values(my weak points) in this study.
Orange slices I did from life, somewhat of a warmup gig. When I draw I try to identify the elements that are most important for convincing the viewer what hes looking at. For the orange slices I think the fanned lines across the slices is an important visual cue.
Watercolor painting of favorite(visually) DotA 2 hero Clockwerk. Quick freehand drawing from picture and watercolors on top. I always aim for a fresh, loose style, I ruined this a bit towards the end of the painting. I'm happy nonetheless.
