Portrait, somewhat suggestive.
Love the portrait, really expressive. I'd have a look at the anatomy of the spaceman though, his torso looks quite wide.

It was an attempt to foreshorten, failed, but I learned what I need to improve. Thanks for the comment.

Trying to figure out this background painting, started with a pencil thumbnail.
The finish for the last exercise. Thanks to the WIP forum for tuning it up.
Background I just finished.
This last landscape is a big improvement from the previous I think. Not nearly so soft and with a pretty good measure of tonal contrast. I'd wager one was from reference and the other from imagination? If so, I'd say keep at the reference, to keep building your visual vocabulary. If they're both from imagination, then I'd say stick with this latest technique.
Keep at it and good luck.

Trying to paint a figure, went a little off the rails though.
I'm doing the concept 101 assignments, I've hit a bit of a block and I'm trying to work through it with something structured.
Great stuff so far! Keep those studies up and keep posting!

I'm trying to push myself to make more "complete" images, even when sketching. Does that make sense?
I'm currently reading through
MindCandyMan's thread and I am am so hyped seeing his progress. I've decided to keep a daily log as well. Here's yesterday's and today's.
my daily life drawing. No.3
I''ve given myself a time limit now, 10 minutes. After a couple weeks I'll half that.
seems like the img uploader is working again! That 10 min limit really kicked my ass on today's.
Reflection for extra challenge, 10 minutes.
Hey, a week of daily updates. Let's go for a month!
I'd like to pose a question to any passersby, what would you like to see in my output? What should I work on? Should I have more volume in my posts? I wan to get better, any advice or challenge would be appreciated.
10 minutes as always.
