Hello, new to the forum. I've been lurking here to pick up advice and tips.
A little quick bio of art if anyone cares; I'm almost 16 and the idea of creating art is wonderful to me.
Being honest here, the majority of my art is that crappy anime blah blah blah. While I do enjoy it, I also want to branch out and go into different fields.
I've planned out things that I would like to do first; so hopefully I'll be putting them in here.
-Painting in PS
I gesture draw once in awhile in my sketchbook but I'm hoping to change that. I'm trying to focus on painting right now. It's going slow, but I'm trying to get there.
The first one was done yesterday night. The fruit was done last week & the forest was done a few months ago. I have a long journey ahead of myself.
Here's to trying to get the best out of this experience !
Did an hour of some figure drawing !! It's calming . Enjoying female stomachs is what I enjoy the most.
Planning to do some males tomorrow .. or tonight, not sure.
Also going to be looking for some perspective guides, tutorials, ect. I tried once in 8th grade but had a very hard time. Hopefully I can understand it a bit better.
Focused on color mixing a bit from ctrl+paint.com / tried my luck at painting nail polish. :s It's too blended and should have a bit more hardness. No clue how to go about transparent glass though, eek.
Todays heep of figures & a doodle. Most were done within 30 seconds expect for the last few. I can say that.. being timed on that is really hard !!
Been trying the perspective & concept art assignments.
Hard time with 2/3rd perspective. Not sure what it is, I think the instructions confuse me.
Also there's a go at a fantasy me. Tried painting with it and realism.. very hard. Wrist started killing too.
