Going to try and reupload my stuff since I must have something horribly wrong yesterday. Anyway, I've recently graduated, doing Illustration, and I'm looking to get into the industry. I've mostly been learning on my own and haven't got much of a life drawing background, I gotta work on that. So, I'm looking for any advice and help from you, guys. Any feedback is very much appreciated.
There are some very epic pieces in here like the cityscape and those rocks, very huge scale environments, but your last piece with the upside down character from naruto (?) looks rushed and a bit out of place
Your enviroments are - as Raymong wrote above - pretty epic.
You achieved to find a style that's differs well from the common painting techiques, same goes
for your colour palette. Very very awesome.
For the enviro piece that ends with 0008, the airship stands bit out as its texture isn't that rich as of its surrounding area.
Regarding the creatures and characters, I'd do a study each day, getting the anatomy nailed down so you can work with its
elements and build your own creatures - like playing with Lego.
Therefore I highly recommend - well, not only me, I was told to by it by a fellow artist and saw that Noah Bradley mentioned it
on his website too - Anatomy for the Artist. Really fine photographs and easy readable but detailed drawings.
PLs keep up the good work, hopefully we could be of help.
