Just wanted to create a thread to help me journal my progress and to get critiques and help as I work through this Zbrush model.
Initial concept: A traveling merchant guy.
Current Status: A bunch of Subtools
Here's an issue I ran into that I'm ignoring until I find a good solution. I wanted to try out the Dynamesh feature to make the face, but when I tried to turn it back into a 3D mesh it became unsymmetrical. When I try using the smart resym, it just puts strange holes in the model. I think I should retopologize it by hand, but maybe there's a better way?
Okay is this better? I increased the Global ambient and diffuse under the Render tab.
Also, quick question, how can I paint the inside of clothing, without it painting the other side? I want to paint the inside of the hood, and it has separate geometry for the inside, but whenever I try to paint it, it goes through to the outside as well.
