Hey there, I'm Josh. I started an account and sketchbook a while ago but never really introduced myself to the community. So to make up for rude behavior, here's a little about myself
I'm 18 years old and finishing my last semester of high school in the wonderful state of Alaska. I always loved to draw and doodle, but never took it seriously until last summer. Since my school doesn't offer an art program, I took it upon myself to start studying.
Video games have always been a part of my life and I love the way designers can create a world and bring the characters from their imagination to life. When I was younger, I would always get a strategy guide with my game and would always stare at the game art on the sides of the pages. When I grew older, I started collecting the official art books and aspired to be able to draw and create characters of my own. Since art classes weren't really offered to me during school, I always thought that I would never be able to learn without a teacher so I never pursued it as a option for a career. As I kept doodling throughout the beginning of high school and kept having the urge to create, I eventually got fed up and started to study.
So now, here I am. Everyone has to start somewhere, so I'm starting here. I hope to be able to learn from this community, get some critique on ways to improve, and eventually be able to give back by doing the same.
