So, I haven't been doing much practice over Christmas with work and that, downfall of a life of a Bartender I suppose; anyway I've recently purchased some ImagineFX magazines, Digital Painting Techniques Vol. 4 and The Art of Assassin's Creed III along with multiple Photoshop magazines but now I think it's time to commit to online courses.
Does anyone know of any websites I can go to, to get lessons on Concept Art. I've been to CGCookie and watched a lot of YouTube videos but I'm still looking for that one site that teaches everything, so if you know any, please let me know!
I've been watching a lot of Feng Zhu's videos on YouTube if you want to check those out. Search for FZDSchool if you do.
Hey. There are a few options. The three best ones (in my opinion only) are the CGMA, http://www.cgma2dacademy.com/, TAD, http://theartdepartment.org/, and The Gnomon Workshop, http://courses.gnomonschool.com/.
Note that some of those classes are highly specialized and they require a good art foundation. I would stick to drawing/painting for a bit if you do not have a good foundation.
Please stop by my sketchbook!
Although they're all artists from YouTube, they're brilliant artists with great free tutorials along with great resources.
Check out http://www.enliighten.com/, http://www.sycra.net/, http://www.fengzhudesign.com/, http://idrawgirls.com/
I agree with Saraiva, the ones he/she listed are brilliant online courses if you are willing to pay!
I plan to do some myself.
You also have: http://www.cgsociety.org/ for paid courses.
Ever just woken up and gone "shit, does the world around me exist"?
