This is a virtual place, put together in each of our heads by the sense we have of the other posters we bump into. And whether we like it of not, a powerful subliminal factor in our sense of the place is the umbrella of its skin.
When the site revamp happened and the sea rolled back, what what was left?
A grey, generic, make do while we rebuild it, homogenous bleary operating table.
Whether or not people behind the scenes are busting a gut to rebuild it, (and I'm sure many are) the truth is that it looks like nobody in charge cares.
The feeling I have is of wandering around after a sanitizing bomb has gone off.
Or better still:
Like the the American indians doing the best they can on the reservation...
The buffalo are gone.
Long live whatever is coming down the railroad.
My guess is it'll take three years.
From Gegarin's point of view
You kicked it off with your nasty little "nobody gives a fuck about your forum" simply because I mentioned how a few forums (that I don't own) deal with their ups and downs. Then you polish that off with "ca has been become popular by its inhabitants and not its primeminister". Yeah the guy who writes the check to keep the forum online, all of these years, no big deal. So you know, maybe you can learn to take the medicine you deal out if that's how you want to roll. Xst you actually think I am going to ignore that kind of a comment? It's like a dog who shits right in front of you in the living room while staring at you and then acts surprised when you smack them on the head with the Sunday edition of the New York Times.this is my last reply to you izi, so post what you feel like. i dont appreciate how you handle this argument, beeing all dismissive and insulting on a personal level, but aslong as you gain something from it... go for it, i couldnt care less.
So, uh, wow, you're on the conceptart.org company payroll? You're a GUEST here.yet, would i stay at a company i got the feeling my concerns arent heard?

A lot of the people who started this forum from different parts of the world came together and started their own companies in order to forge friendships and collaborate with each other in real life, so now they don't need a forum to stay in touch.
