ts pretty unprofessional to post that you are looking for work, then not respond. I have reached out to 3 artists on here over the course of 3 weeks, both in the forums and the e-mail they listed. If you're not interested, you can be a pro and say you're not interested. But to just do nothing is weak.
Are there any comic artists here who are actually LOOKING FOR PAID work??
J: Don't call my escorts hookers.
B: Mom's still got it!
J: I don't date whores!
L: This objectification of women has to stop!
M: It's just mom and whores...

I concur. Makes it difficult to differentiate legit prospects from one-off posters.
I agree. Even when not interested in someone's proposal it's only polite to write a reply. It helps the other party with making plans.
There are about over 100+ artists here advertising their services on the forum; if you've contacting tried only three and had no luck so far, there are still plenty of opportunities, so don't give up.
It's similar the other way around: Artists looking for work usually contact 50+ potential clients to find only a handful who currently need their work.
