Sketchbook: my sketchbook
Any advice is greatly appreciated!
hi and welcome to CA
congrats on your first post
perhaps you should explain your goal to make it more precise.
i guess " drawing from mind " is your ultimate goal.
first of all do lines: many lines , millions !
practice doing straight line from point to point, circles, then cube and spheres (with ellipses)
make longer brush strokes (not furry ones) try to get confidences in your lines.
copy thing from life ! your desk , your pet, your friends
of course books and tutorials are your friends. Andrew Loomis is free to download (http://www.alexhays.com/loomis/) and is the Great tool to learn.
don't ever stop posting your work and commenting others works (even if you think they are better than u)
Thank you for your advice! I'll get right on that, right after I'm done writing my two ten page essays T_T. hahaha.
My final outside of class drawing for figure drawing. Actual size is 35x44 done with charcoal.
uploaded my sketches to photobucket because i couldn't figure out how to upload multiple images at once - didnt want to have to do all 60 something individually!
