Hello internet! I've decided to learn 3d sculpting. I have no experience with this whatsoever, so criticism is greatly appreciated.
My first project will be to create a stylized character. Here's my progress so far -
I might not get to update as often as I like (I have other 2d projects to work on) but I'll try to be as diligent as possible.
I like your room. It has an old school feel to it. One thing I would recommend is trying out the Anti Aliasing settings under mental ray, and upping up the shadow quality a bit. Looks great.
i was really into 3d design a while back, i would advise to start something very simple and see it through from modeling uv mapping and texturing then maybe import to a game engine. instead of starting numerous projects which will probably never be finished, maybe a prop of some kind, finish it move on and then look back at what you could change and do better,

Yah...I tend to start a bunch of projects that don't always get done. I'm also mostly focusing on 2d right now...which is why my 3d stuff tends to just be odds and ends whenever I find the time and the motivation.
I'll try to model a single building. That seems like it might be a reasonable task.

Insane improvement! Whats the timespan between the top ones and this city? It's like two different worlds!
Woah, that 3D glitch art is really trippy! I was mesmerised by it for like 5 minutes... I really like the style of that blocky city scape. I think there is scope in that look that is worth exploring maybe in an animation or something.
