Iím in the Navy and nearing deployment. Illustration is a pretty big hobby of mine and Iíd like to keep up with my art while Iím away from home. I share a shop with three people, and we have enough space for some personal things. I donít think I have enough room to squirrel away my entire desktop though, and I donít like working on laptops because the screens are often too small.
I was considering an All-in-One PC since I could just collapse the back and secure the entire thing behind a cabinet when Iím not using it. So which ones should I be looking at? My budget is around 800-1000 dollars but I can go a bit higher. Ideally, it should have a nice screen and enough power to handle large Photoshop documents.
Anyone else use an all-in-one PC?
Or I could hook my laptop up to a cintiq but that would be more costly.
I'm really not sure of all-in-one PC's myself, however if I were you I'd just hook up a laptop to an external display 24" or bigger and have standard Wacom graphics tablet.
Probs cost ~$500 AUD for a decent monitor and intuos5 small.
These specs look rather nice: http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/...sGKCwntdnF7fA\
As for build quality and the likes, I have no clue and I've never owned an Asus.
Just do some googling really, see what you find.
Ever just woken up and gone "shit, does the world around me exist"?
