Above are all Charcoal Pencil 3 hour studies from various workshops in San Diego County.
I'll try to periodically update this thread to show other studies and progress.
Above are quick sketch drawings done in 20 minute sessions, except for one. The Afro-American gent I did in a 3hour session.
The Digital Painting, mostly portrait, was done in a 3 hour workshop.
The PrimaColor Marker on top of ball point pen, with some white out, done in 3 hour workshop, today.

I only go to an Atelier part time, Art Renewal Certified School,
and study under Ron Lemen:
There's a painterly quality that I still have to work on, but my figure drawings still seems successful as an illustrative style.

The elder gentleman was done in a 3 hour workshop. The poses are a variation from 5 minutes, 10 to 20 minutes.
I'm doing a painting that has 8 poses, 3 hours each. I will post progressions of the oil painting. This is 3 weeks in.
Nice job! Stuff looks great - both the shorter and long pose. Jealous of that scene that is going on down in SoCal theses days! Keep it up - looking forward to the development of the eight pose painting...
That looks awesome! I never drew nudes from life but I'd love to! I just started learning the basics. I do it by myself now but I'd love to study like this.

Thanks for the replies I'll keep posting...eventually. I'm just trying to keep this thread from being lost.
Why does it say "WASP" Figure Drawing Studies at the top? White Anglo Saxon Protestant figure studies?
Where did the 'Wasp' icon go? Oh I get it.

The charcoal and prisma color/pen drawings were done in 3 hour sessions each.
The above Oil Paint is done over a 8 week session with 3 sessions left, preliminary progression.
