Figured it was about time I actually made one for here, since the past 8 months have been grinding my head to the stone on value and color. Mainly trying to understand more on color palettes. At first I was spending a lot of time with landscapes, which I intend to go back to, I just find working with portraits and anatomy lately has spear headed an advance in my color studies.
The first, is a color study of "A Bedouin Arab" by John Singer Sargent.
The 2nd is just a portrait of this girl who i found had crazy amounts of color in her face.
