These are some of the images I've done after work to switch gears from studio related subject matter, but mostly to try and get better.
I don't feel in any way like i've got all the answers, and likely never will. It seems people tend to find their own artistic voice by doing this stuff a bunch. So F**k the Police.
I've got more images that I'll post later... this one became absurdly long. Thanks for checkin' me out!
k... i just saved everything you just posted to my harddrive. dont think thats ever happened on my first visit to a new sketchbook. GOOD LORD!!! you got skills dude! the jedis...so awesome! keep posting dude! i need more inspiration in the future!!!
Very nice work!!!!!! you got mad skills
Why dream when I can do that with a pencil!
Thanks for the replies
@Ardescoere - Yup, B/W first. Sometimes I jump into color, but I'll convert modes to B/W while working on it to make sure my values are not totally sucking. It depends on what I'm working on.
wow outstanding concepts of the jedis, and I like the way u achive the final piece using referencis for inspiration. plz keep posting I can't stop looking at them

Absolutely stunning work. I love your Star Wars work, any plans to paint droids, bounty hunters and smuggler types?
Aaaaah this stuff is blowing my mind! To much input!
Love the energy and contrast in light, very jealous but very inspired
Love your work man. I've been wishing you had a sketchbook or a thread in the Finally Finished section since I saw your 4 horsemen CHOW WIP. The only real thing I have to say is just to be mindful of your secondary and tertiary light sources. Generally you handle them well but occasionally you seem to forget them on the main figures (the light sabres for example seem to provide virtually no lighting on the characters. It might be purposeful, but just thought I'd mention it.
Whao this is a sweet sketchbook! I love your first jedi/sith guy, he looks like he has a wild side to him haha
simply amazing, really inspiring.
waiting for more

Amazing sketchbook! You have really great skills, thank you for posting your work!
@Sivonja / @KarenR My apologies for not posting the 4 horsemen in CHOW, I didn't get it in before the deadline. To be honest, I was occupied with other stuff and completely forgot so I posted it here. I won't blow it next time. Thanks so much for the support though, it was a good final lineup!
