I am an aspiring animator currently in my second year of college.
Mainly, I am interested in 2d character animation and character/prop design.
However, I also have a passion for stop motion, and dabble in puppet making in my free time.
My friend, Jinny, encouraged me to join this site! I think it will be a great way for me to track my progress!
I will aim to update my sketchbook weekly, and possibly show snippets of current projects.
Crits are much appreciated!

Here are some exploratory sketches of a recent animation short I directed. It was such a great experience, and although I wish we could have developed it a bit more, my team really exceeded my expectations. (Most of us are still in animation I!!) You will be able to see it soon here.
I love comparing the first and last sketches, these all took place over the past month as we were working.

My friend Jinny and I are currently working on a webcomic. Here is some concept work I did. Mainly I focus on props, color, and backgrounds, but did explore characters a bit. Jinny finalized the characters incorporating elements from each of our styles. Overall, collaborating on this project has been a lot of fun!
Earlier exploratory work:
I've also been exploring looser sketching and thumbnailing for animation in my sketchbook:
