Thanks, Diana. The chick you painted has a creepy face, maybe they could be friends?
That’s a pretty cool painting Gabriel. Showering gives good ideas? Maybe I should try it sometime.
I have not done much drawing today outside of school. This is a quick study from a movie still.
sadly not much time for drawing today. being project lead takes most of my time
another portrait. my goal is to practice color but i often get stuck in proportions. fades could be better
Hey guys thought I might hop in!
I need to practice backgrounds/environments
I've never posted on this forum before, hope I get this right.
Nice values Amanda! I decided to do a quick study from the music video to Woodkid's "Iron", but I didn't finish..
Hey everyone sorry about not posting earlier i was battling my motherboard
Hey Amanda welcome to
anyway as for this weekend´s challenge the rules are fairly simple
You have to make a zombie character or creature the choice is yours
It can be comical or serious whichever is fine
You have to paint a full character or creature no portraits allowed
Deadline sunday 23:55
Aaaaand here is todays sketch, an orc (Lord of the rings study)
Happy painting everyone
Welcome Amanda, cool concept Your wyrm pic is awesome Maxemilian, it's so cute! Diana, great work on the values in the face, it looks very three-dimensional ... and Lenni, impressive!
I'm very excited about the zombie character, gonna be fun seeing all the contributions
Here's my piece for today

An experiment with textures. I quite like how this turned out. Now I need to work on some zombies.
Yay zombies! gonna be fun!
Love how the sketch-group is going it´s awesome!!
sooo here is a little update
the first one i drew the sketch for on the train home, first time I actually did from scanned sketch
aaand the first zombie was thinking of doing 3 diffrent types
Btw I was thinking of doing a live stream with the zombies, tomorrow. If anyone is interested give a heads up on the thread so i can set a time
Cool zombie, Lenni. Looking forward to seeing how the other two turn out.
Hers is mine, Zombie nurse. Not likely to make anyone feel better.
Sunday sunday. This is what i managed this afternoon. Felt tired afterwards and weren't to proud of the result. But now that I post it feels better!
My undead creature is a zomborg! he's one of the results from the twisted experiments the swedish state performed on corpses from forgotten graves
(and today's portrait)
Sounds nice about the live stream Lenni! Have you done it before? I'd be interested.
and good work with the zombies everyone! Lookin forward for another productive week!
I haven't had much time at all this weekend... but here's something at least, not very creative but fun!
Cool zombies I like how you managed the flowing blood, Kristian!
Here's a concept for a virus infection, spread by some kind of mutated floating alien plant ... thingie. The virus slowly turns the host body into big pods of spores, and when they've matured enough, burst, sending newly hatched alien plants in all possible directions. In the early stages of the infection, the host has a nearly unquenchable appetite for fresh meat, since the virus requires a lot of energy to make the pumpkin/melon-like pods.
Great zombies everyone!!
Kristian: I really like the clean design, and the pose is great. The saw ads a nice touch
Max: Portraits weren't allowed but still it has a great feeling of a old and forgotten portrait
Torben: I really like you´re interpretation of going cyborg on a zombie... only in Sweden....
Diana: good concept! it remind me of this really old school strict teacher gone zombie
Gabriel: Great transition of the disease really disgusting but in a good way
I sat all day trying to figure out how to get livestream to work proper.
it kept lagging and getting connection errors apparently my connection just sucks so the quality of the videos i can stream have to be quite low
Ill try some more during the week to see if i can get it working on a better quality.
sooo update. Only one more zombie but that was all i could get in today
good work everyone!!
uhh you got some rely nice stuff going over there
some messy but spot on and other quit detailed
I would like to see more clean conceptarts
keep on going ;D
Today's doodle! I really liked the results of the zombie challenge Nice job everyone!
Awesome doodle Diana! Here's what I've polished on a bit in school today. I cant find my wacom pen! so it's gonna be traditional tonight, and then a severe cleaning of my room
Here's my quick 1h drawing for today, as well as a quick polar bear study. I got the inspiration on my way home from school, seeing a kid sitting on her daddy's shoulders, thinking she controlled him in some insidious way
Edit: I can't believe I spent 20 minutes on each of those polar bear versions, I must've been really tired after the lunch ...

I did not feel like drawing tonight but I got motivated again seeing everyone else’s cool concepts. Thanks .
Hers is a rough sketch of a wasteland preacher. I will probably go further with this idea.
Kristian, that's a really nice concept, you should indeed go further with it!
Had no tablet during the weekend, doing a quick zombie today instead.
All of your stuff looks great guys!
Hi everybody. Just some quick perspective training stuff.
Today I tried out some SketchBook Designer thingy that came in our Autodesk package because it seemed like fun :p Then I drew something with my left hand that I'll fill in with my right hand tomorrow I think... kind of a fun thing to do when inspiration is lacking.
