I finally finished my catapult and then I drew a little and spent the rest of the day eating crisps
Weekend Challenge !!
The next step in human evolution
The challenge is to crate a human character that has evolved To the next step
The changes can be anything from subtle to dramatic, the first thing that comes to mind for me is Waterworld(just an example)
The Deadline is the same as last time Sunday 23:55
Testing brushes and approaches
yup, the next stage in human evolution.
as the environment will grow more unstable and harsh humanity will rely more and more on technology and artificial means for nurishment. This includes a drastic reduction of sun exposure. And since the ozone layer will be completely gone as well, the few times you can glimpse the sun through the layers of pollution it will cause sever burns.
That's why the humans, though still intelligent, have developed a similarity to cave animals.
this is what we will look like. I'm sure of it.
neat stuff guys, really like that winged girl's thin arms diana, very birdlike
here's a left hand sketch
I agree, Lennis' bird chick was really cool! And I admire your left hand proficiency Amanda
Tried to finish my forrest piece as best as I could.
And I think it's been roughly a month since I started with my self portraits. So I think i'll end here and move on to another exercise
Dang, I missed the weekend concept since I didn't get any e-mail notification for the thread being updated Really nice contributions though, everyone! I can see your future human shambling towards me awkwardly in a poorly lit cave somewhere, Torben ... very neat concept, Kristian, it looks so polished!
Not bad for a left-hand sketch Amanda
So here's my pic, better late than never I guess ... In the far future we finally merged with our computers, bred into a biomechanical bubble-chair, and able to plug modules into our outlets on our forehead and hull of the bubble.
okey, another mimic at clean lines. Not so finished as I'd hoped but at least a start. The point of this exercise is going to be to achieve a clean concept over polished picture. And iv'e been doing way to little finished stuff from imagination.
nice stuff guys!
oops sorry, get the icons mixed up
Some dude decided to shoot a huge laser at some mountain top apparently ... I'm practicing landscapes and environments, working from references. Ref pic to the right.
I haven't much time today but here's a baby bird
Quick sketch - wip
another atempt. broke the timelimit this time. Gotta learn early on to keep it.
Wow nice lady Amanda!
Not really the sketch thing, but something I have been workin on for the last couple of nights.
Wow nice stuff guys. Great effort Christian
and cool gun Nils!
30 min concept for a steam bike. Think i'll skip the perspective lines next time. they eat up to much time that could be spent on fleshing.
Cute ghosts Amanda
Nils, that gun looks really sleek!
Continuing on my mummy caster ...
